internal symbols.

Maybe skipping symbols starting with _ (or __?) would suffice ?

I just updated from winehq's wine 0.9.49 to this version and found out that

I cannot check now for the format of these START-INFO-DIR-ENTRY but
could it be that the additional spaces at the beginning are wrong?

Strange enough I cannot see anything in the above fix which might cause

override this he should create a file /etc/default/loadcpufreq like
the provided example.

I guess in the loadcpufreq script a default ENABLED=true is missing.

Thanks for the clarification.

I was unaware of the release manager route, I thought they used their 
own overriding metatags, and only tech-ctte had power over the 
maintainer for the BTS tags tied explicitly to a package.

Is this documented somewhere, so that next time I can maybe prove my

Hello, Julien.

Many thanks for your speedy response and Season's Greetings to you and yours.

I have applied the patch and installed and the crashing has now stopped.

Unofrtunately, the touchscreen no longer does anything.

If I cat /dev/ttyS1 I do see data, but the mouse pointer doesn't respond at 
all.

Yes it does. You can use "dpkg -L libwine" to confirm that there's a 
/usr/lib/libwine.so.1.0, and a libwine.so.1 symlink. Reinstall if you 
need to, but the problem is not in this package.

Nothing, complain to DEBIAN () install-info which did give the error
message. It matches:

thus without leading spaces. I reassigned this bug to dpkg.

When I try to run gxine (from the commandline with no arguments) I get:

This could be caused by the missing dependency on python-pyorbit, but
only if it has been automatically removed from your system during the

The system hangs when trying to start X.
It even stops responding to 'ping' or alt-ctrl-f1,f2...
The screen is blank. Nothing works but reset.

This is a fresh installation of debian 40r0 via netinst CD,
then imediately switched/upgraded to sid.

The X system worked on original 40r0 debian and it stoped
working during upgrade to sid (even during instalation process
itself when it comes to gdm restart). To finish the upgrade
process, I've uninstalled gdm and finished aptitude full-upgrade
in console mode, and reinstalled gdm (which didn't fix the problem).

Even uninstall/reinstall X system didn't fix the problem.

Anyway, the problem is still present. Please let me know what other
info I should send about this problem.

In my mind just came that you maybe tried: "apt-get install mono" which
does not work anymore (on purpose), as the changelog of 1.2.6+dfsg-1
says those 2 (mono and mono-devel) _meta_ packages were dropped because
they do not install anything that might be useful for any application,
besides helloworld. I would suggest you to install "mono-runtime"
instead.

2.35 from migrating to testing for now, as the Garmin USB gpsr are very
common
