Bug#737659: Info received (libreoffice-writer: Segmentation fault when trying to open a .docx document; crashing docx example)

2015-06-18 Thread bodo riediger-klaus

Hi,
just for your info, in jessie-backports the bug is fixed.

Ugly, but no crash.

Hi, this Document crashes lowriter with segfault.
http://www.gsonet.org/shared/articles/wil/Formular_Wilhelmy_Antrag_2015.docx

And how do you know that it's the same style of document the original
submitter had? (I.e. it is the same bug. Right, you don't.)

Since he has not offered a Test-Document I tried to Submit one Document,
assuming that there are not so many unfixed bugs in Libreoffice
resulting in a crash.

I gone through

http://neowiki.neooffice.org/index.php/Crashing_bugs_in_LibreOffice_and_OpenOffice

to help you maybe find a fix the easy way, but all these Test-Documents
reporting to crash, tested out fine on our jessies-stable.

Now I don't know what I should handle here, expecially as your later comment
means that I can "close" it with marking the affected versions but that's for
_your_ doc, not the bug submitters'

You could assume the same as me and try to fix this one, or just tell me
and i will submit a new one.

Closing would be wrong in my opinion, since the "stable"-Version is
still affected.

Regards,
Rene

In File
/usr/share/request-tracker3.8/lib/RT/User_Overlay.pm
line 1090
you call
$RT::Logger->warn( this should be
$RT::Logger->warning(

if you type in a bad password you get an error
Can't call method "warn" ...

looks like a typo.
