Bug#681658: f-spot: Performance/general display problems while switching to next/previous photo since mono-update
Package: f-spot Version: 0.8.2-5 Severity: important The "Edit Image" mode is not working reliably anymore: When switching to the next or previous photo with the page up/down key or the previous/next photo button, the actual display of the next photo is either delayed by a couple of seconds (especially if there is a modified version of the photo present), or often it will not even be displayed at all; instead the original photo remains displayed (often in a somewhat incomplete form). This makes photo viewing and organising very annoying. I think this is the result of the last mono transition, since it didn't happen with the same version of f-spot before. Is there any known regression in mono related to this? There is at least another mono viewing bug in #678275. thanks, Florian -- System Information: Debian Release: wheezy/sid APT prefers testing APT policy: (500, 'testing') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Kernel: Linux 3.2.0-3-amd64 (SMP w/4 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=en_US.utf8, LC_CTYPE=en_US.utf8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Versions of packages f-spot depends on: ii dbus1.6.0-1 ii gconf2 3.2.5-1 ii gvfs-bin1.12.3-1+b1 ii libc6 2.13-33 ii libcairo2 1.12.2-2 ii libflickrnet2.2-cil 1:2.2.0-4 ii libgconf2.0-cil 2.24.2-2 ii libgdk-pixbuf2.0-0 2.26.1-1 ii libglib2.0-02.32.3-1 ii libglib2.0-cil 2.12.10-4 ii libgnome-keyring1.0-cil 1.0.0-4 ii libgnome2.24-cil2.24.2-2 ii libgnomeui-02.24.5-2 ii libgtk2.0-0 2.24.10-1 ii libgtk2.0-cil 2.12.10-4 ii liblcms11.19.dfsg-1.1 ii libmono-addins-gui0.2-cil 0.6.2-2 ii libmono-addins0.2-cil 0.6.2-2 ii libmono-cairo4.0-cil2.10.8.1-4 ii libmono-corlib4.0-cil 2.10.8.1-4 ii libmono-posix4.0-cil2.10.8.1-4 ii libmono-sharpzip4.84-cil2.10.8.1-4 ii libmono-simd4.0-cil 2.10.8.1-4 ii libmono-system-core4.0-cil 2.10.8.1-4 ii libmono-system-web4.0-cil 2.10.8.1-4 ii libmono-system-xml4.0-cil 2.10.8.1-4 ii libmono-system4.0-cil 2.10.8.1-4 ii libndesk-dbus1.0-cil0.6.0-6 ii libpango1.0-0 1.30.0-1 ii libsqlite3-03.7.13-1 ii libunique-1.0-0 1.1.6-4 ii libx11-62:1.5.0-1 ii libxcomposite1 1:0.4.3-2 ii mono-runtime2.10.8.1-4 Versions of packages f-spot recommends: ii dbus-x11 1.6.0-1 ii dcraw 8.99-1+b2 f-spot suggests no packages. -- no debconf information -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-bugs-dist-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe". Bug#681878: network-manager-gnome: nm-applet repeatedly forgets passwords when trying to reconnect to WIFI network
Package: network-manager-gnome Version: 0.9.4.1-1+b1 Severity: normal The WIFI password is saved in the login keyring. Somehow nm-applet seems to not reliably read the keyring entry. Various different behaviours are possible: - Everything works, when a WIFI with saved PW (re)appears, it is automatically connected - When a WIFI (re)appears, a PW dialog is shown with the PW already filled. This PW dialog might be an old-style one or a new, gnome3 dialog (this is similar to #651097, only that it might be that there appears only one of both, most of the time the old one) - When a WIFI (re)appears, a PW dialog appear with no PW filled. For unstable WIFI connections this can be very annoying, and it also happens frequently after booting. This is not #578587 supposedly because it does not happen every time. Bug#825962: libreoffice: crashes when trying to get the python macro menu if uno-0.3.3 has been installed with pip
Hi Rene, You're right, it seems that I have made a little confusion here. > Depends. That uno there seems like > https://www.versioneye.com/python /uno/0.3.3, is it? Indeed. When using pip3 install uno, it gets installed in /usr/local/lib/pyton3.5/dist-packages/uno. Has nothing to do with /usr/lib/python3/dist-packages/uno.py, which seems to contain the libreoffice stuff. Well, whatever the uno 0.3.3 module is made for, it still causes libreoffice to crash when installed, so maybe libreoffice gets confused by the names too ;) Regards, On Tue, 31 May 2016 21:28:18 +0200 Rene Engelhard wrote: > On Tue, May 31, 2016 at 09:11:37PM +0200, Florian Chaix wrote: > > The bug only happens if uno-0.3.3 has been installed via "pip3 install uno" command. > > Removing uno-0.3.3 using "pip3 uninstall uno" solves the issue. > > Mmh. > > > I guess installing uno via pip was not very smart in the first place, given that debian package python3-uno exists, but maybe it shouldn't make the whole app to crash. > > Depends. Bug#754960: wrong context?
I first tried to add all kinds of variations of GnuTLSPriorities SECURE:!VERS-SSL3.0:!VERS-TLS1.0:+VERS-TLS1.2:+VERS-TLS1.1 to /etc/apache2/mods-available/gnutls.conf as I did similar stuff for openssl in /etc/apache2/mods-available/ssl.conf But it turned out, that you have to edit your /etc/apache2/sites-available/default-tls to contain this line. Some documentation: http://mod-gnutls.sourceforge.net/downloads/docs/mod_gnutls_manual-0.1.html It is from 2011 but I didn't find more recent docs. It is not mentioned, that you can also disable using "-" instead of "!" or that TLS1.2 is implemented and it is not very verbose. On my server the line above has the same result as GnuTLSPriorities NORMAL:!VERS-SSL3.0:!VERS-TLS1.0:+VERS-TLS1.2:+VERS-TLS1.1:!MD5 -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-bugs-dist-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe". Bug#849852: gdm3: fails to switch on second monitor (sometimes also main monitor) after resuming from hibernate
Package: gdm3 Version: 3.22.1-1 Severity: normal I have a dual-monitor setup with an external monitor connected to my laptop (intel graphics). After resuming from hibernate, most of the times the external monitor does not switch on anymore. It is also not possible to log in, since the working monitor does not show any login dialog etc. Trying to switch to a console leads to a restart of gdm, showing the login dialog (the second monitor remains switched off), but trying to login does not work (it returns to the login screen immediately). The then-available shutdown button can be used, but the system never succeeds in actually shutting down the system, it remains on with switched-off screen. Only a hard reset resolves that situation then. A few times the external monitor switched on, but not the laptop monitor. Then it was possible to log in, and the laptop monitor appears to be switched off in the monitor settings. Attempting to switch it on fails without reaction. In the first case, I see the following in the syslog: /usr/lib/gdm3/gdm-x-session[1978]: (EE) modeset(0): failed to set mode: Invalid argument and then lots of: /usr/lib/gdm3/gdm-x-session[1978]: (WW) modeset(0): flip queue failed: Device or resource busy /usr/lib/gdm3/gdm-x-session[1978]: (WW) modeset(0): Page flip failed: Device or resource busy /usr/lib/gdm3/gdm-x-session[1978]: (EE) modeset(0): present flip failed In the second case: /usr/lib/gdm3/gdm-x-session[2322]: (EE) modeset(0): failed to set mode: Invalid argument org.gnome.Shell.desktop[29479]: Window manager warning: Configuring CRTC 63 with mode 75 (1366 x 768 @ 60.018642) at position 1680, 0 and transform 0 failed In the worst case, this can lead to data loss because a hard reset is needed. Bug#529178: video-radeon: Probably hardware limitation
Thanks for your comments (and sorry for the late reply) Now that xorg 1.6.3 migrated to testing, together with a new radeon driver and with a fglrx proprietary driver which does not anymore support my hardware, I do not have a workaround anymore, except for using VGA which is not a solution, I think (for the record, the new radeon driver does not improve on the situation). I tried the options and the modelines Alex suggested (see below), but without any change in the behaviour. Every scrolling e.g. on the bugreport page causes a 1-2 s blackout of the screen. You really stop scrolling. If you have any more suggestions I would be very happy (you don't even get a new fan-less AGP card for a reasonable price easily nowadays...). Bug#419571: cryptsetup may need to activate more than 1 crypt partition
I tried with the lenny beta2 debian installer businesscard image (release selection unstable) and the daily build netinst installer from 20080816 with a similar setting as described above in the report of Jonas and it didn't work. With the daily build installer I get a "Can't open dev/mapper/hda1_crypt exclusively. Mounted filesystem?" error message when trying to set up the lvm over the crypt-devices, the beta2 businesscard installer installs the setup without problems, but when booting it asks only for the first password and fails setting up the lvm accordingly (as described in the original report). I am using one sata and one pata drive if it matters. I wonder how it could actually work for Jonas or if I am missing something? thanks and greetings, Florian -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe". Trouble? Bug#499332: rdiff-backup: Exception 'RPath instance has no attribute 'inc_compressed''
Package: rdiff-backup Version: 1.2.1-1 Severity: important This was already reported in the (closed) bug report #493373. Since it just happened to me with version 1.2.1 (both machines up-to-date lenny, doing a remote backup), I submit a new report. What happened: I did an initial backup locally. Then before trying the first remote backup, I manually changed the UID/GUID on all files in the backup (probably not the best idea. I did it anyway.). The first backup after that failed because of network troubles. When I tried to restart the backup, I got the following exception: Previous backup seems to have failed, regressing destination now. Bug#574126: cryptsetup: Cannot open LUKS device if device mapping still exists
Package: cryptsetup Version: 2:1.1.0~rc2-1 Severity: normal I regularly get into a situation where I cannot mount my external USB disk anymore, and I am not aware of a working workaround at the moment. If it happens that the USB disk gets disconnected (in my case because of some file system errors, but I guess it would be sufficient to just accidently plug out the cable, ...), then Gnome asks for the passphrase of the LUKS device again--entering the passphrase results in the error message: Unable to mount Error unlocking device: cryptsetup exited with exit code 239: Device devkit-disks-luks-uuid-xxx already exists. Trying to remove the device mapping using sudo cryptsetup luksClose devkit-disks-luks-xxx results in: "Device (null) doesn't exist or access denied.", but it can be found in /dev/mapper/. I have a Lenovo Thinkpad X201 with newest BIOS installed. cpufreq-info tells me: - analyzing CPU 0: driver: acpi-cpufreq CPUs which run at the same hardware frequency: 0 1 2 3 CPUs which need to have their frequency coordinated by software: 0 maximum transition latency: 10.0 us. hardware limits: 1.20 GHz - 2.53 GHz available frequency steps: 2.53 GHz, 2.53 GHz, 2.40 GHz, 2.27 GHz, 2.13 GHz, 2.00 GHz, 1.87 GHz, 1.73 GHz, 1.60 GHz, 1.47 GHz, 1.33 GHz, 1.20 GHz available cpufreq governors: conservative, powersave, userspace, ondemand, performance current policy: frequency should be within 1.20 GHz and 1.20 GHz. The governor "ondemand" may decide which speed to use within this range. current CPU frequency is 1.20 GHz. cpufreq stats: 2.53 GHz:0.00%, 2.53 GHz:0.00%, 2.40 GHz:0.00%, 2.27 GHz:0.00%, 2.13 GHz:0.00%, 2.00 GHz:0.00%, 1.87 GHz:0.00%, 1.73 GHz:0.00%, 1.60 GHz:0.00%, 1.47 GHz:0.00%, 1.33 GHz:0.00%, 1.20 GHz:100.00% (1) - This used to work, I tried with an older 2.6.32-9 which I still have installed: cpufreq-info | grep "hardware limits\|current policy": - hardware limits: 1.20 GHz - 2.53 GHz current policy: frequency should be within 1.20 GHz and 2.53 GHz. - I am pretty sure that it stopped working not so long time ago, maybe around one or two months ago. Trying to change the frequency using the 'Gnome CPU Frequency Scaling Monitor' tool does not change anything. Note that I tried 2.6.36 from experimental, there it does not work as well. thank you for your work, Florian -- Package-specific info: ** Version: Linux version 2.6.32-5-amd64 (Debian 2.6.32-27) (m...@debian.org) (gcc version 4.3.5 (Debian 4.3.5-4) ) #1 SMP Sat Oct 30 14:18:21 UTC 2010 ** Command line: BOOT_IMAGE=/vmlinuz-2.6.32-5-amd64 root=/dev/mapper/debian-root ro quiet ** Not tainted ** Kernel log: [ 10.595958] i915 :00:02.0: irq 34 for MSI/MSI-X [ 10.595964] [drm] set up 31M of stolen space [ 10.598927] phy0: Selected rate control algorithm 'iwl-agn-rs' [ 10.621628] USB Serial support registered for Qualcomm USB modem [ 10.623579] qcserial 2-1.4:1.2: Qualcomm USB modem converter detected [ 10.623670] usb 2-1.4: Qualcomm USB modem converter now attached to ttyUSB0 [ 10.623706] usbcore: registered new interface driver qcserial [ 10.715542] Synaptics Touchpad, model: 1, fw: 7.4, id: 0x1e0b1, caps: 0xd047b1/0xb4/0xa [ 10.715546] serio: Synaptics pass-through port at isa0060/serio1/input0 [ 10.766898] input: SynPS/2 Synaptics TouchPad as /devices/platform/i8042/serio1/input/input10 [ 10.771315] usbcore: registered new interface driver snd-usb-audio [ 10.781469] Linux video capture interface: v2.00 [ 10.839241] uvcvideo: Found UVC 1.00 device Integrated Camera (17ef:4816) [ 10.840352] input: Integrated Camera as /devices/pci:00/:00:1a.0/usb1/1-1/1-1.6/1-1.6:1.0/input/input11 [ 10.840408] usbcore: registered new interface driver uvcvideo [ 10.840411] USB Video Class driver (v0.1.0) [ 11.442413] Console: switching to colour frame buffer device 160x50 [ 11.445417] fb0: inteldrmfb frame buffer device [ 11.445418] registered panic notifier [ 11.450874] acpi device:01: registered as cooling_device4 [ 11.451078] input: Video Bus as /devices/LNXSYSTM:00/LNXSYBUS:00/PNP0A08:00/LNXVIDEO:00/input/input12 [ 11.451129] ACPI: Video Device [VID] (multi-head: yes rom: no post: no) [ 11.451179] [drm] Initialized i915 1.6.0 20080730 for :00:02.0 on minor 0 [ 11.451220] HDA Intel :00:1b.0: PCI INT B -> GSI 17 (level, low) -> IRQ 17 [ 11.451258] HDA Intel :00:1b.0: setting latency timer to 64 [ 12.064531] loop: module loaded [ 12.572042] Adding 4882424k swap on /dev/mapper/debian-swap. When I install the battery, but continue to run from AC, it works again. What is causing the problem then? I guess a workaround would be to install some laptop tools to prevent a full load of the battery; is there another solution? thanks! Bug#563676: Outgoing messages hard to read when using dark Gnome themes
Package: gajim Severity: normal thanks for your quick reply. For the record: Of course I checked the style tab, but as it seems I cannot change the colors of the text I write or receive there ("Chat line colors" change only the color of the name of the chat partners, the color of the status messages and the color of urls, in the "themes" section there is no option either). If it should be there, then I might be blind or adding it might be a possible option to solve the little but annoying problem. But if you prefer that I discuss this with upstream (which is partly you, I think? ;-) ), I will of course consider doing so. thanks again, Florian -- System Information: Debian Release: squeeze/sid APT prefers testing APT policy: (500, 'testing'), (1, 'experimental') Architecture: i386 (i686) Kernel: Linux 2.6.30-2-686 (SMP w/2 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=en_US.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_US.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Versions of packages gajim depends on: ii dnsutils 1:9.6.1.dfsg.P2-1 Clients provided with BIND ii libatk1.0-01.28.0-1 The ATK accessibility toolkit ii libc6 2.10.2-2 GNU C Library: Shared libraries ii libcairo2 1.8.8-2 The Cairo 2D vector graphics libra ii libfontconfig1 2.6.0-4.2 generic font configuration library ii libfreetype6 2.3.11-1 FreeType 2 font engine, shared lib ii libglib2.0-0 2.22.3-1 The GLib library of C routines ii libgtk2.0-02.18.3-1 The GTK+ graphical user interface ii libpango1.0-0 1.26.2-1 Layout and rendering of internatio ii python 2.5.4-5 An interactive high-level object-o ii python-glade2 2.16.0-1 GTK+ bindings: Glade support ii python-gtk22.16.0-1 Python bindings for the GTK+ widge ii python-support 1.0.6 automated rebuilding support for P Versions of packages gajim recommends: ii dbus 1.2.16-2 simple interprocess messaging syst ii notification-daemon0.4.0-2 a daemon that displays passive pop ii python-crypto 2.0.1+dfsg1-4 cryptographic algorithms and proto ii python-dbus0.83.0-1 simple interprocess messaging syst ii python-gnupginterface 0.3.2-9.1 Python interface to GnuPG (GPG) ii python-openssl 0.9-1 Python wrapper around the OpenSSL Versions of packages gajim suggests: ii aspell-en 6.0-0-5.1 English dictionary for GNU Aspell ii avahi-daemon 0.6.25-2 Avahi mDNS/DNS-SD daemon ii dvipng 1.12-2convert DVI files to PNG graphics ii gnome-keyring 2.28.2-1 GNOME keyring services (daemon and ii libgtkspell0 2.0.13-2 a spell-checking addon for GTK's T pn nautilus-sendto(no description available) pn network-manager(no description available) pn python-avahi (no description available) ii python-gconf 2.28.0-1 Python bindings for the GConf conf ii python-gnome2 2.28.0-1 Python bindings for the GNOME desk pn python-gnomeikeyring (no description available) pn python-kerberos(no description available) ii python-sexy0.1.9-1 python language bindings for libse ii texlive-latex-base 2007.dfsg.2-4 TeX Live: Basic LaTeX packages -- no debconf information -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-bugs-dist-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe". I do not have this option and there is no on-canvas spell checking (the spell checking in the Text and Font dialog works). thanks, Florian -- System Information: Debian Release: squeeze/sid APT prefers testing APT policy: (500, 'testing'), (1, 'experimental') Architecture: i386 (i686) Kernel: Linux 2.6.30-2-686 (SMP w/2 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=en_US.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_US.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Versions of packages inkscape depends on: ii libatk1.0-01.28.0-1 The ATK accessibility toolkit ii libc6 2.10.2-2 GNU C Library: Shared libraries ii libcairo2 1.8.8-2 The Cairo 2D vector graphics libra ii libcairomm-1.0-1 1.8.0-1 C++ wrappers for Cairo (shared lib ii libfontconfig1 2.6.0-4.2 generic font configuration library ii libfreetype6 2.3.11-1 FreeType 2 font engine, shared lib ii libgc1c2 1:6.8-1.2 conservative garbage collector for ii libgcc11:4.4.2-3 GCC support library ii libgconf2-42.28.0-1 GNOME configuration database syste ii libglib2.0-0 2.22.3-1 The GLib library of C routines ii libglibmm-2.4-1c2a 2.22.1-2 C++ wrapper for the GLib toolkit ( ii libgnomevfs2-0 1:2.24.2-1GNOME Virtual File System (runtime ii libgomp1 4.4.2-3 GCC OpenMP (GOMP) support library ii libgsl0ldbl1.13+dfsg-1 GNU Scientific Library (GSL) -- li ii libgtk2.0-02.18.3-1 The GTK+ graphical user interface ii libgtkmm-2.4-1c2a 1:2.18.2-1C++ wrappers for GTK+ 2.4 (shared ii libgtkspell0 2.0.13-2 a spell-checking addon for GTK's T ii liblcms1 1.18.dfsg-1 Color management library ii libmagick++2 7:6.5.8.3-1 object-oriented C++ interface to I ii libmagickcore2 7:6.5.8.3-1 low-level image manipulation libra ii libpango1.0-0 1.26.1-1 Layout and rendering of internatio ii libpangomm-1.4-1 2.26.0-1 C++ Wrapper for pango (shared libr ii libpng12-0 1.2.41-1 PNG library - runtime ii libpoppler-glib4 0.12.2-2 PDF rendering library (GLib-based ii libpoppler50.12.2-2 PDF rendering library ii libpopt0 1.15-1lib for parsing cmdline parameters ii libsigc++-2.0-0c2a 2.0.18-2 type-safe Signal Framework for C++ ii libstdc++6 4.4.2-3 The GNU Standard C++ Library v3 ii libwpd8c2a 0.8.14-1 Library for handling WordPerfect d ii libwpg-0.1-1 0.1.3-1 WordPerfect graphics import/conver ii libx11-6 2:1.3.2-1 X11 client-side library ii libxml22.7.6.dfsg-1 GNOME XML library ii libxslt1.1 1.1.26-1 XSLT processing library - runtime ii zlib1g 1:1.2.3.3.dfsg-15 compression library - runtime Versions of packages inkscape recommends: ii imagemagick 7:6.5.8.3-1 image manipulation programs pn libwmf-bin (no description available) ii perlmagick 7:6.5.8.3-1 Perl interface to the ImageMagick ii pstoedit 3.45-8 PostScript and PDF files to editab Versions of packages inkscape suggests: pn dia | dia-gnome(no description available) ii libgnomevfs2-extra1:2.24.2-1 GNOME Virtual File System (extra m pn libsvg-perl(no description available) pn libxml-xql-perl(no description available) ii python2.5.4-2An interactive high-level object-o ii python-lxml 2.2.2-2pythonic binding for the libxml2 a ii python-numpy 1:1.3.0-3 Numerical Python adds a fast array ii python-uniconvertor 1.1.4-1Universal vector graphics translat ii ruby 4.2An interpreter of object-oriented ii skencil 0.6.17-17 Interactive vector drawing program ii ttf-bitstream-vera1.10-7 The Bitstream Vera family of free -- no debconf information -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-bugs-dist-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe". Bug#987040: gdm3: Sometimes system locks hard after entering password
Package: gdm3 Version: 3.38.2.1-1 Severity: important This has happened now two times within a week or so (never happened before) on an up-to-date debian testing system. * Waking up from suspend * Entering password on login-screen and press enter * System freezes completely (can't change to terminal, no mouse pointer reaction, etc) * Only reboot helps, loosing work in suspended session Maybe it is related to entering the wrong PW the first time, and after entering the correct one it freezes (but I am not 100% certain whether that was also the case last time it happened). There is (to my eyes) nothing suspicious in the syslog before the crash (a lot of annoying tracker messages flooding the log, but that seems to be "normal"). Unfortunately/fortunately I have not yet found a way to reliably reproduce it. Package: gdm3 Version: 3.38.2.1-1 Followup-For: Bug #987040 This now happened three more times. And the original bugreport was a bit misleading, it is the screensaver screen and not the login screen of course. There were again no messages in the syslog, or only a couple of scrambled lines. Bug#987040: gdm3: Sometimes system locks hard after entering password
Package: gdm3 Version: 3.38.2.1-1 Followup-For: Bug #987040 I have now found the trigger for the locks: This always happens when I have a sshfs connection open at the time when going to suspend. The sshfs connection needs an established vpn, which isn't there when returning from suspend. As soon as the user logs in (pressing "Enter" in the screensaver dialog), the unavailable sshfs connection seems to lock gdm3 completely. It is actually not a complete hard-lock, playing music when going to suspend just continues after waking up and also after gdm3 has locked. It seems that sshfs is known to have this kind of problems (#571005), but I guess gdm3 should not lock in this (or any) kind of situation ... -- System Information: Debian Release: bullseye/sid APT prefers testing APT policy: (990, 'testing'), (500, 'testing-security'), (500, 'unstable') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Kernel: Linux 5.10.0-6-amd64 (SMP w/8 CPU threads) Kernel taint flags: TAINT_OOT_MODULE, TAINT_UNSIGNED_MODULE Locale: LANG=en_US.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_US.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8), LANGUAGE=en_US:en Shell: /bin/sh linked to /usr/bin/dash Init: systemd (via /run/systemd/system) LSM: AppArmor: enabled Versions of packages gdm3 depends on: ii accountsservice 0.6.55-3 ii adduser 3.118 ii dbus 1.12.20-2 ii dconf-cli 0.38.0-2 ii dconf-gsettings-backend 0.38.0-2 ii debconf [debconf-2.0] 1.5.75 ii gir1.2-gdm-1.03.38.2.1-1 ii gnome-session [x-session-manager] 3.38.0-4 ii gnome-session-bin 3.38.0-4 ii gnome-session-common 3.38.0-4 ii gnome-settings-daemon 3.38.1-3 ii gnome-shell 3.38.4-1 ii gnome-terminal [x-terminal-emulator] 3.38.3-1 ii gsettings-desktop-schemas 3.38.0-2 ii libaccountsservice0 0.6.55-3 ii libaudit1 1:3.0-2 ii libc6 2.31-11 ii libcanberra-gtk3-00.30-7 ii libcanberra0 0.30-7 ii libgdk-pixbuf-2.0-0 2.42.2+dfsg-1 ii libgdm1 3.38.2.1-1 ii libglib2.0-0 2.66.8-1 ii libglib2.0-bin2.66.8-1 ii libgtk-3-03.24.24-3 ii libkeyutils1 1.6.1-2 ii libpam-modules1.4.0-7 ii libpam-runtime1.4.0-7 ii libpam-systemd247.3-3 ii libpam0g 1.4.0-7 ii librsvg2-common 2.50.3+dfsg-1 ii libselinux1 3.1-3 ii libsystemd0 247.3-3 ii libx11-6 2:1.7.0-2 ii libxau6 1:1.0.9-1 ii libxcb1 1.14-3 ii libxdmcp6 1:1.1.2-3 ii lsb-base 11.1.0 ii mutter [x-window-manager] 3.38.4-1 ii policykit-1 0.105-30 ii procps2:3.3.17-5 ii ucf 3.0043 ii x11-common1:7.7+22 ii x11-xserver-utils 7.7+8 Versions of packages gdm3 recommends: ii at-spi2-core2.38.0-2 ii desktop-base11.0.3 ii x11-xkb-utils 7.7+5 ii xserver-xephyr 2:1.20.10-3 ii xserver-xorg1:7.7+22 ii zenity 3.32.0-6 Versions of packages gdm3 suggests: pn gnome-orca pn libpam-fprintd ii libpam-gnome-keyring 3.36.0-1 -- debconf information excluded

Well, you didn't match the Perl regular expression[0], so katie, the archive maintenance script, skipped some entries. And the two bugs katie noticed were only tagged as "fixed" and not closed since you used an invalid email address in the changelog, so Shaul's was inserted when he rebuilt your package for signing and uploading, thus effectively marking it as an NMU... But I bet you two already figured that out, so please keep up the good work. Bug#291482: transcriber: feature request: slow down sound like Audacity's "change tempo"
Package: transcriber Version: 1.4.6-4 Severity: wishlist transcriber is very useful software, and helps transcription of all kind of materials a lot. Yet, some people speak faster than I am able to type, and I have seen proprietary software that can make such transcriptions much easier by reducing the speed of speech without changing the pitch of the voice. I recently noticed that a similar function is included in Audacity (the free "DJ-mixer"), accessible under Effect->Change tempo, so it's neither secret nor magic, and I would be very happy if this could also be included in transcriber :-) Florian -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe". Nonetheless I hope he will continue, perhaps from now on more or less loosely coordinated with the l10n-german mailing list :) Further hints might be taken from him setting the translation team to the KDE l10n list and not heeding several standards the Debian l10n-german list has previously agreed upon, so I don't think his translation will find this list's acceptance as-is. > However, a translation was already included in kdebase 4:3.3.0a-1 > (back in September 2004), and the templates had not changed in the > meantime. Helge already mentioned in #252060 how he thinks Erik's translation is nice, but he added some corrections. I think those are basically justified, but were still in need of some improvement, so I incorporated them into a new de.po, waiting for the l10n-german list to approve or improve. For the sake of comparison and completeness I put all files at <http://people.debian.org/~florian/l10n-german/>, naming the file from the corresponding bugreport right after it, the .new file being the version changed by me, containing the corrections previously suggested, and the .diff containing the diff -u output. The one I personally favor is 264608.de.po.new. And for clarity's sake I explain why I preferred not to use "während" but took "beim" instead: "während" is generally coupled with Genitiv, combined with Dativ it's rather colloquial instead; but using the correct case here sounds quite awkward in German so I tried to circumvent that problem by using alternative phrasing. Erik, Helge, Burkhard, others, what do you think about all this? Cheers, Flo PS: Not CCing Helge as he's on the list. signature.asc Description: Digital signature
