Bug#846557: src:ugene: New version available

2016-12-02 Thread Andreas Tille
Package: src:ugene
Severity: normal

Hi,

Ugene version 1.25.0 is available and it would be nice to have it in
Stretch. Ugene might require some skills with quilt. In the long term
it would be great to get the package in main by separating code copies
and checking licenses.

Kind regards

  Andreas.

Bug#846558: transgui: I'd like to have transmission-remote-gui alias for this package

2016-12-02 Thread Nikolay Shaplov (Swami Dhyan Nataraj)
Package: transgui
Version: 5.0.1-1
Severity: wishlist

Hi! I've been using transmission for may yeas. I was really missing something
like transgui, but I did not know
that it exists in debian repo because I was expecting that it will have hame
starting with
transmission-*

Now I found transgui and happy. But nevertheless: I would offer to create alias
package that would really
install transgui, something like transmission-remote-gui or
transmission-remote-transgui or any other, the
main idea, it's name should start with transmission-*, so user can see all
stadalone transmisson clients in
one search request.

So this is my suggestuion...

Bug#846559: yocto-reader: Remove the package because of very low quality

2016-12-02 Thread Christian Buhtz
Package: yocto-reader
Version: 0.9.4+nmu1
Severity: normal

Dear Maintainer,

please remove the package from the repository.

1. No "help" implemented (click on the menu point in the reader). No manpage.
No user-documentation in /usr/share/doc/yocto-reader.

2. The tracker doesn't point to the project website. As you can read in the
"copyright" file in the doc-folder the project website is http://yocto-
reader.flouzo.net/. But it is dead - no response from there.

3. After installing the package the user doesn't know how to start it. No
binary, no manpage. And no .desktop-file.

>From the viewpoint of useability this is a very low qualitiy of the package.
Because of no project website there is no information about the status and
activity of Upstream. Is the project still in development or is it dead?

Maybe you as the maintainer have "better connection" to the Upstream-devs. The
should clearify the points or remove the package.

Bug#846562: node-mustache, ruby-mustache: error when trying to install together: both ship /usr/bin/mustache

2016-12-02 Thread Andreas Beckmann
Package: node-mustache,ruby-mustache
Severity: serious
User: trei...@debian.org
Usertags: edos-file-overwrite
Control: found -1 1.0.2-1
Control: found -1 2.3.0-1

Hi,

automatic installation tests of packages that share a file and at the
same time do not conflict by their package dependency relationships has
detected the following problem:

  Selecting previously unselected package ruby-mustache.
  Preparing to unpack .../19-ruby-mustache_1.0.2-1_all.deb ...
  Unpacking ruby-mustache (1.0.2-1) ...
  dpkg: error processing archive
/tmp/apt-dpkg-install-DZh5hC/19-ruby-mustache_1.0.2-1_all.deb (--unpack):

node-mustache 2.3.0-1
  Errors were encountered while processing:
   /tmp/apt-dpkg-install-DZh5hC/19-ruby-mustache_1.0.2-1_all.deb

This is a serious bug as it makes installation fail, and violates
sections 7.6.1 and 10.1 of the policy. An optimal solution would
consist in only one of the packages installing that file, and renaming
or removing the file in the other package. Depending on the
circumstances you might also consider Replace relations or file
diversions. If the conflicting situation cannot be resolved then, as a
last resort, the two packages have to declare a mutual
Conflict. Please take into account that Replaces, Conflicts and
diversions should only be used when packages provide different
implementations for the same functionality.

Here is a list of files that are known to be shared by both packages
(according to the Contents file for sid/amd64, which may be
slightly out of sync):

  /usr/bin/mustache

This bug is assigned to both packages. If you, the maintainers of
the two packages in question, have agreed on which of the packages will
resolve the problem please reassign the bug to that package. You may
also register in the BTS that the other package is affected by the bug.

Cheers,

Andreas

it looks like you are a bit confused. capstone is already in Debian
so there is no need to file an "ITP" (Intent To Package). I saw
that your already converted the "O" (Orphaned) bug into a "ITA" (Intent to
Adopt) bug (#843440) and that you already made a sponsorship request
(#846348).

I would like to suggest you to join the pkg-security team and maintain
that package in the team's git repository. We have sponsors for your
updated package in the team.

Please have a look at https://wiki.debian.org/Teams/pkg-security
and request to join the team on
https://alioth.debian.org/projects/pkg-security

Subscribe to the mailing list and feel free to ask any question on the

Have you checked whether capstone 4 breaks reverse dependencies?

This makes me think about a recurring issue: being able to easily
personalize an ISO image.

It's useful to have an ISO image that "just install this and that on the
whole disk without asking anything" without having to setup PXE.

It's useful to have an ISO image that just directly uses the native
language of the target users.

We need it for accessibility for the cases where a braille device
can not be automatically detected for instance, some parameter must
be manually set, and that can't be done in an accessible way in the
bootloader.

Of course, that's called preseeding, one just has to stuff a preseed.cfg
file on a key. But one also have to put magic stuff on the kernel
command line to get it loaded, etc. It's really far from convenient
(and doesn't fix the accessibility case).

I was thinking that we could reserve some room on the ISO image itself
to contain this, so that it can be easily patched over. Something
like a dumb preseeding file full of comments, to have enough room for
personalization. The idea would be that the official Debian images have
this file with a well-known content. Personalization tools can then
just change the content, without having to rebuild the ISO image. Such
personalized ISO image then fails any checksum verification of course,
but one can revert the personalization by putting back the well-known
content, and thus be able to verify the checksum.

With such a setup, the various blend images could be simply
personalizations of the officiel CD image. The personalization step
could be done by the blend teams and put for download, or it could even
somehow be done on the fly at download time.

As a side note:

This one does not make sense: using speech is completely orthogonal to
everything else. That's why it's a boot entry on all images.

I've gone ahead and drafted patches for both hcih and udd. The patches
are untested, since I don't have a udd dev instance and setting one up
appears to require access to ullmann port 5242 (the port appears to be
blocked even from alioth). That said, the new codepaths are basically
a copy-paste of the existing 'gift' codepaths, so I assume they are
correct.

Patches attached.

Dear Maintainer,
When I start systemsetting5 in GUI or in console and then I do "Application
Style"->"Window decorations"-> "All settings" -> SEGMENTATION FAULT (the window
closes). The window closes often (not always).
I have 2 themes (plastik and breeze). I get segmentation fault when I have any
theme (breeze or plastic) or even I change theme or don't change theme or do
anything else... I often get segmentation fault in any case when I do "Window
decorations" ->...do something or don't do something...-> "All settings".
It may be something like this:

If you have any questions, please, write me.

I can reproduce the issue, but I'm not completely sure that the upstream
report is the right one. Afaics, they only share the fact that systemsettings
is segfaulting.

This would be most easy to implement by teaching the preseed udeb to
look for a preseed file in the same partition as the hwdetect udeb is
looking for firmware. If this partition exist on the ISO/USB stick,
preseed could look for a well known file name (say preseed-default.cfg),
and load it if it exist. Should be less than 50 lines of changes to the
preseed udeb.

FTBFS due to failing tests:
FAIL: keystoneclient.tests.unit.test_cms.CMSTest.test_cms_verify
FAIL:

Both tests fail because: Command 'openssl' returned non-zero exit status 1

I think its OpenSSL >= 1.1 bug, which returns wrong exit code (1 insted of
2) if input file not exists.

I prepared quilt patch and going to upload new release of

Bug#845498: [Pkg-pascal-devel] Bug#845498: Bug#845498: /usr/bin/fpc-3.0.0: Provide cross-compilers

Okay, I've got it *almost* working:
https://gist.github.com/o11c/cf98115ba716ebdd1dc2cc75b290f321

I'm still getting errors from update-alternatives in postinst, but I
*think* everything else is right - at least, things that weren't
completely wrong before (there are a lot of those).

I have SUCCESSFULLY produced 32-bit binaries on a 64-bit host, but
that doesn't prove the /etc/ stuff is right. Need to add testcases,
and also force linking with libc.

Hopefully this answers the various questions people have had, e.g.
about what we need to do about binutils.

There are a LOT of TODOs, referring to various bugs (or things) in
various packages (or things), in the script. I suggest you guys look
at them.

Oh, and I haven't tested phase3 with anything besides --dist=stretch.

I will be updating the gist, so remember to `git pull` before.

I'd rather pull my own teeth out with a rusty spoon. Debian packaging
is beyond all doubts the worst I've ever played with - nearly entirely
due to the "in-source" rather than "out-of-source" nature of the
packaging (which is also extremely hostile to upstreams).

Compare e.g. The Fedora documentation [1] - it is *far* simpler for
newcomers, and this is *not* a matter of documentation. (I used to
mention Gentoo since that was my first, but that always makes people
get distracted by the totally-irrelevant fact that the Gentoo project
doesn't *ship* the binary packages). For that matter, even NixOS
packages[2], which live in an utterly alien environment, are easier to
get into than Debian packages.

FYI just from a quick look, this might not be trivial... I tried to
build treeviewx with Debian's libncl but then noticed that even the
names of the header files seem to differ between the embedded 2.0 and
the 2.1.18 in Debian. I can look into it in more detail when I find the

Right, this was reported the other day on IRC by Mattia Rizzolo. The
combination of -Sextreme -z9 and parallel xz makes this use more than
the available address space. I'll change the code to limit based on
memory available. Although as was mentioned on a thread on d-d, those
settings are pretty unfriendly IMO, even more for memory constrained
arches, but oh well. dpkg should never fail to operate on those
conditions.

btw, I'm convinced by now that we could+should automate filing this

Bug#846567: git-buildpackage: Please add an option to import-dsc to specify the target directory

2016-12-02 Thread Chris Lamb
Source: git-buildpackage
Version: 0.8.7
Severity: wishlist
Tags: patch

Hi,

It would be nice to be able to specify the target directory to
import to when creating a new repo. I would find this useful as
I use "pkg-packagename" instead of just "packagename".

Patch attached.

Bug#846569: libsnmp-dev: Should depend on "libssl-dev | libssl1.0-dev" if possible

2016-12-02 Thread Raphaël Hertzog
Package: libsnmp-dev
Version: 5.7.3+dfsg-1.5+b1
Severity: serious
Justification: FTBFS in openvas

Currently openvas is not buildable because it build-depends on libssh-dev
which depends on libssl1.0-dev and libsnmp-dev which depends on
libssl-dev (and both libssl*-dev are not co-installable).

I believe we might be able to fix this by making libsnmp-dev depend on either
version of the -dev package. But this is true only if libsnmp does not reuse
parts of the SSL API in its own API... and I don't know if this is the case.

If that's not the case, then we should stick to libssl1.0-dev until
ssh works with OpenSSL 1.1 and everything can be switch together to version 1.1.

For the stable update I've left /etc/tomcat8/Catalina/localhost writable
by tomcat8. As you suggested the permissions are set at the file level
inside the .deb and not in the postinst script.

Good question, I tend to agree. That's probably the next step, this is
being discussed in #833257.

Bug#846570: aptitude: Fails when trying to upgrade apt

2016-12-02 Thread Ulrich Klauer

The messages are mostly in German. The essential point, however, is that
dpkg could not get a lock on its database. I had of course no parallel
invocation of aptitude, apt, dpkg or anything running at the time, only
this "aptitude safe-upgrade".

It may be that it is actually a bug in a script for the apt package? If so,
please feel free to reassign.

I wanted to upload this changes but openvas fails to build in sid due to
the openssl transition. It build-depends on libssh-dev which requires
libssl1.0-dev and also on libsnmp-dev which requires libssl-dev.

So we must first solve this, possibly by letting libsnmp-dev depend on either
version of the -dev package (opened #846569 about this).

Absolutely. This would be a the very minimal statement I'd like us to emit.

> I don't think I'd support giving global to someone else.

I would support handing global to new maintainers, really. We have 4 persons
who have contributed to the newly-available package in experimental:
https://tracker.debian.org/news/820174
Their total work is a magnitude more than what was given to the package by the
current maintainer in the last 6 years.

> I don't think we even need to say "Ron you did something bad." I do think

I wouldn't support a decision where we state that Ron did something bad. It
would be unneeded blaming (especially in a TC decision), and unnecessarily
agressive.

I'd support a decision handing the package to better hands though. For me, it
is now obvious that there exists a group of maintainers out there who would do
better service to the maintenance of global, than is currently done.

> If we can find a path forward that gets a new global into Debian, I'd be

Sure, absolutely. But its really also a question of timing, and allowing Ron
to tell the TC (in direct words, through further NAK'ing, or through inaction)
"fine, I've won another release with global v5 in, I'll let the package go
after the release of stretch", we will have rewarded stop-energy and inertia,
over service to our users.

Although we probably haven't reached consensus, I'd like to see this subject
move forward; what about the following ballot (with options to be refined, of
course):

A) Using §6.1.5, the TC offers advice (insert Sam's advice above) about the
maintenance of src:global.
B) Using §6.1.2, the TC decides that the src:global maintainer is now (insert
 name)
C) Further discussion

I don't think there's anything else we expect from upstream to resolve
this bug. I was hoping for the author (vimster) to release some sort
of public, verifiable statement that they would like to license their
works under CC-BY-SA, in order to refute their earlier statement in
that same forum thread that they want their work to be licensed with a
not-for-profit clause (I'm assuming that would be something akin to
CC-BY-SA-NC, which would not be considered DFSG-free by Debian). But
I'm fine with taking deve's word that the author accepted CC-BY-SA
licensing in a private email. Thanks for getting in touch with the
author and clarifying the license!

My hesitation with this bug was mostly due to uncertainty whether
Debian's ftpmasters and/or other maintainers within the Debian Games
team would require more proof regarding the author's intentions, but
that does not seem to be the case. Assuming no objections from the
team, I'll prepare a STK upload over the weekend.

Unfortunately not, but if you contact me directly off-list, I'll still
do my best to reply ASAP. :)

This was fixed upstream last month:

Could you upload this fix to unstable, now that HDF5-1.10 transition has

Thanks for checking. I bet we have way more urgent things to do than
polishing legacy code. I just dropped this issue in BTS since I
considered it not worth tackling right now but leave it on the table
for some later point in time (most probably after stretch release).

Bug#846575: libssl-dev:amd64: struct dh_st is declared and used but nowhere defined

2016-12-02 Thread Edward Welbourne
Package: libssl-dev
Version: 1.1.0c-2
Severity: important

Dear Maintainer,

I'm building Qt from source and it has some code that accesses a
member of struct dh_st (accessed via its typedef name, DH); my
build failed (for the first time, just after upgrading libssl-dev)
because

error: invalid use of incomplete type ‘DH {aka struct dh_st}’

I find:

$ find /usr/include/openssl /usr/include/x86_64-linux-gnu/openssl \
   -type f -print0 | "xargs" -0 -e grep -wnH -e dh_st
/usr/include/openssl/ossl_typ.h:104:typedef struct dh_st DH;
/usr/include/openssl/dh.h:61:/* typedef struct dh_st DH; */
/usr/include/openssl/evp.h:920:struct dh_st;
/usr/include/openssl/evp.h:921:int EVP_PKEY_set1_DH(EVP_PKEY *pkey, struct
dh_st *key);
/usr/include/openssl/evp.h:922:struct dh_st *EVP_PKEY_get0_DH(EVP_PKEY *pkey);
/usr/include/openssl/evp.h:923:struct dh_st *EVP_PKEY_get1_DH(EVP_PKEY *pkey);

Note the declarations and uses; but no definition of the type.

It's possible this struct's internals are meant to be private and
1.1.0c-2 has finally enforced that - in which case Qt is at fault (and
I'll file a bug against Qt). The offending code in Qt is in its
qtbase/src/network/ssl/qssldiffiehellmanparameters_openssl.cpp

There are similar errors for
* EVP_PKEY {aka struct evp_pkey_st}, aggregate ‘EVP_CIPHER_CTX ctx’,
  DSA {aka dsa_st} and RSA {aka rsa_st} in
  qtbase/src/network/ssl/qsslkey_openssl.cpp
* X509 {aka struct x509_st} and EVP_PKEY {aka struct evp_pkey_st} in
  qtbase/src/network/ssl/qsslcertificate_openssl.cpp

Again, find | xargs grep reveals only declarations, no definitions.

Bug#846580: environment-modules,lmod: error when trying to install together

2016-12-02 Thread Andreas Beckmann
Package: environment-modules,lmod
Severity: serious
User: trei...@debian.org
Usertags: edos-file-overwrite
Control: found -1 6.6-0.1
Control: found -1 3.2.10-9

Hi,

automatic installation tests of packages that share a file and at the
same time do not conflict by their package dependency relationships has
detected the following problem:

  Selecting previously unselected package lmod.
  Preparing to unpack .../10-lmod_6.6-0.1_all.deb ...
  Unpacking lmod (6.6-0.1) ...
  dpkg: error processing archive
/tmp/apt-dpkg-install-7ATbYB/10-lmod_6.6-0.1_all.deb (--unpack):
trying to overwrite '/usr/share/man/man1/module.1.gz', which is also in
package environment-modules 3.2.10-9
  Errors were encountered while processing:
   /tmp/apt-dpkg-install-7ATbYB/10-lmod_6.6-0.1_all.deb

  /usr/share/man/man1/module.1.gz

This bug is assigned to both packages. If you, the maintainers of
the two packages in question, have agreed on which of the packages will
resolve the problem please reassign the bug to that package. You may
also register in the BTS that the other package is affected by the bug.

Cheers,

Andreas

Sorry for the delay in a reply; I've been kicking around thoughts about
the best response. I am interested in having up to date tools such as
the sigrok suite in Debian, but don't use them enough to be able to
justify taking over maintainership. I'd like to help out where possible
though. I was wondering if perhaps some sort of team maintenance would
be appropriate for these sorts of tools (and maybe things like openocd
as well) - there's the existing pkg-electronics-devel (cc'd) that might
be a suitable home? I'd be prepared to try and help keep up to date with
upstream releases in such an environment.

J.

Bug#846582: ITP: python-codegen -- extension to ast that allows AST -> Python code generation

2016-12-02 Thread Sascha Steinbiss
Package: wnpp
Severity: wishlist
Owner: Sascha Steinbiss

* Package name: python-codegen
  Version : 1.0
  Upstream Author : Armin Ronacher
* URL : https://github.com/andreif/codegen
* License : BSD
  Programming Lang: Python
Description : extension to ast that allows AST -> Python code generation

The codegen module converts a abstract syntax tree (AST) back into
Python source code. This is useful for debugging purposes, especially when
dealing with custom ASTs not generated by Python itself.

This package will be provided for Python 2 and is being packaged as a
dependency of the Rekall memory forensics framework.

So there are two llvm versions at play at the same time?
I don't think that should work :)

Also, i guess kdevelop needs to be a part of llvm transition.

But this goes with the assumption that all Debian Derivatives have the same
policy. I'm more keen on seeing some clarification on the policy itself.

Let's wait and hope to see the blocking bug (#840235) come to a conclusion.

Bug#846583: cloud.debian.org: AWS Image should enable DHCPv6 client

2016-12-02 Thread Bernhard Schmidt
Package: cloud.debian.org
Severity: minor
User: cloud.debian@packages.debian.org
Usertags: aws

Hi,

thanks for providing an AWS EC2 Image with Debian Jessie.

AWS is now supporting IPv6 on EC2 instances, see

https://aws.amazon.com/de/blogs/aws/new-ipv6-support-for-ec2-instances-in-virtual-private-clouds/.

The support is currently limited to the zone us-east2, but should be
available in all regions shortly. The provisioning of the IPv6 address
on the machine is done through stateful DHCPv6.

For this /etc/network/interfaces needs to be amended with

iface eth0 inet6 dhcp

Thanks,
Bernhard

Bug#843784: [Openjdk] Bug#843784: openjdk-7-jre: After last security update, icedtea-plugin fails all applets

2016-12-02 Thread Alain Rpnpif
From Gaute Amundsen :

Hi.

I don't have an email address I want posted on a public webpage, but I
believe I have this problem in Ubuntu 14.04, with icedtea-plugin
1.5.3-0ubuntu0.14.04.1.

I had some trouble downgrading OpenJDK 7 as suggested due to complex
dependencies but I was able to "solve" the problem by instead adding
"permission java.security.AllPermission;" to the default section
/etc/java-7-openjdk/security/java.policy.

Perhaps one of you may want to add this to the bug report?

Bug#846255: Rebuild with apt-src

2016-12-02 Thread Jody Bruchon
This may not be a bug in the program. If a user tries to dedupe a file
for which they don't have write permissions and aren't root, dedupe will
fail with 0 bytes processed.

In commit 5eb89cc2bd7cd37f2a27b587b563ac8f3eb1ff7f I have introduced two
changes to make it easier to determine if the problem is a permissions one:
- No write permission check and an additional message at the end of the
warning or error telling the user that they don't have write permission
for the file
- "dedupe only did 0 bytes" instead says that "dedupe failed" so the
user is less confused by the warning.

If you have verified that you have write access to both of the files in
a deduplication pair and are still having issues, please let me know.

maybe somebody with buildd knowledge can comment on this? Aurélien?

This is the same error I'm getting over here. I'd expect this to happen because
the default /etc/buildd/buildd.conf does not set anything for "$distributions".
The questions are:

 - should the buildd package automatically start the buildd service (and fail)?
 - should there be a default value for the DISTRIBUTIONS configuration variable
such that buildd does not fail when initially started?

Thanks!

Bug#846587: consolation: doubleclick fails to select '/', '.', etc

2016-12-02 Thread Adam Borowski
Package: consolation
Version: 0.0.3-1
Severity: normal

Hi!
When doubleclicking a "word", consolation accepts only actual alphanumeric
words. This makes it useless for most of what people use doubleclick for:
file names, version numbers, dates, email addresses, URLs, floating-point
numbers, etc.

GUI terminals (at least all of those I have currently installed) do select
those, for example xfce4-terminal defaults to:
WordChars=-A-Za-z0-9,./?%&#_+@~
(it also accepts non-ASCII Unicode without allowing redefinition).

Hi,

Whilst working on the Reproducible Builds effort [0], we noticed
that minicoredumper could not be built reproducibly.

This is due to exluding var/crash from dh_fixperms (to keep the
subdirectories' permissions intact?) which means that the group "write"
bit is inherited from the system's umask.

Patch attached.

Seems fine (and actually required to use --allow-downgrades here).

I seem to recall you removed it one to many times.

If you call "apt-get install" instead of "dpkg -i" you surely will need
to call list_installed_files as well and not remove it?!

Judging by these questions I think the best case of action is that you
rework the patch (if needed) and then point me again to it and then I'll
hopefully just merge it…! ;-)

Bug#846587: wrong handling on non-ASCII, too

2016-12-02 Thread Adam Borowski
Looking at the code in question (which turns out to come from the kernel
rather than consolation itself), I see another problem: it is hard-coded for
latin-1 (with somehow punctuation being included), which is wrong in a vast
majority of cases: unconfigured console, including Debian's, uses a custom
charset that mixes CP437 with ISO-8859-1, causing consolation to consider
line-drawing characters as word chars which is definitely wrong --
especially that frames very often live next to words an user wants to copy.

When the console is configured, it almost always does a charset other than
ISO-8859-1 (as those who want that are usually satisfied with the default),
and charsets I've looked at do provide line-drawing as well.

Thus, I see that the kernel assumes the mouse daemon will configure this
with TIOCL_SELLOADLUT -- gpm does so. This means here's a workaround for
this problem: install gpm, remove it, re-install consolation, and until
reboot you're set :p

For the record, the unconfigured default is:

static u32 inwordLut[8]={
  0x, /* control chars */
  0x03FF, /* digits*/
  0x87FE, /* uppercase and '_' */
  0x07FE, /* lowercase */
  0x,
  0x,
  0xFF7F, /* latin-1 accented letters, not multiplication sign */
  0xFF7F /* latin-1 accented letters, not division sign */
};

I guess it should be changed to match the default charset, but that's a
matter for kernel guys not you. I can patch that but with the only users
of this code being gpm (which overrides the default) and now consolation,
I'd prefer hearing your opinion first.

I doubt this is related to this bug. However, I'll try to reproduce your
issue this week-end. Are you running on sid or jessie?

Bug#846590: [sysvinit-core] Mount removeable device doesnt work

Package: sysvinit-core

Dear maintainers,
i cant mount removeable devices as user (in group plugdev). If i switch
to systemd-sysv, this works.

I am not dure, if this bug is related to sysvinit-core or maybe the
systemd-shim.

Something is strange here, because the setq for TeX-complete-list is at
line 48 in the package style/subfigure.el file, and not at line 44. Line
44 to 51 of /usr/share/emacs/site-lisp/auctex/style/subfigure.el should be:

   (LaTeX-add-lengths "subfigtopskip" "subfigcapskip" "subfigcaptopadj"
  "subfigbottomskip" "subfigcapmargin" "subfiglabelskip")

   ;; Install completion for labels:
   (setq TeX-complete-list
 (append
  '(("[Ss]ubref{\\([^{}\n\r\\%,]*\\)" 1 LaTeX-label-list "}")))
  TeX-complete-list)

and /usr/share/emacs25/site-lisp/auctex/style/subfigure.el should be a
link to /usr/share/emacs/site-lisp/auctex/style/subfigure.el (but your
log seem to indicate the symbolic link is correct).

Could you check this is indeed the case on your computer?

Given your range of good/bad and the test-case I did a git bisect
and git then told me this issue was introduced in:

commit 7a4ea5664edba98bff28adec3a9c3cfb5763a495
Author: Karel Zak
Date: Tue Jan 19 14:24:53 2016 +0100

chrt: add control struct

$ git describe 7a4ea5664edba98bff28adec3a9c3cfb5763a495

Since this is not a debian specific issue I would appreciate
if you'd like to bring it up on the upstream mailing list.

Andreas Henriksson

There are newer version available but I want to wait until the reverse

Bug#846595: ITP: wok -- Webserver Originated from Kimchi

2016-12-02 Thread Lucio Correia
Package: wnpp
Severity: wishlist
Owner: Lucio Correia

* Package name: wok
  Version : 2.3.0
Upstream Author : 2013-2016 International Business Machines Corporation and
others
* URL : https://github.com/kimchi-project/wok
* License : LGPL-2.1+ and Apache-2.0
  Programming Lang: Python
Description : Webserver Originated from Kimchi

Wok is a cherrypy-based web framework with HTML5 support that is extended by
plugins which expose functionality through REST APIs.
Examples of such plugins are Kimchi (Virtualization Management) and Ginger
(System Administration). Wok comes with a sample plugin for education purposes.
Wok runs through wok service.

In order to update kimchi and ginger packages to their latest upstream
versions (2.3), wok package is needed as a dependency.

Wok is a split out of kimchi's web framework. Kimchi is now focused on
virtualization functionality and became a plugin of Wok.

Most of Wok code was already being analyzed as part of Kimchi ITP at
https://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=772823 and RFS at
https://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=800966.

We intend to provide Wok along with Kimchi, Ginger and Ginger-Base
plugins every Debian release.

We look for a sponsor.

Bug#846372: vtk6: FTBFS: /< ...

2016-12-02 Thread Gert Wollny
Hello Iain,

thanks for the patch and please go ahead with the upload. I will take
care of adding it to the packaging git.

There is no use in forwarding this to upstream, because for them vtk-6
is EOL, they are now at vtk-7 which will only be packaged after stretch
is released.

Best,
Gert
