Bug#701495: qemu-kvm: Wheezy qemu-kvm fails to give DHCP to Windows XP Guest using isolated network in libvirt-bin

It seems the process is somehow very slow. In order to dramatically
sped it up, please use cache=unsafe with your drives. It is recommended
for an OS install too. The effect of it is that qemu ignores FLUSH_CACHE
commands from gest, immediately reporting success, so I/O is dramatically
reduced. Since it is inital OS install, in case of crash or anything it
is trivial to re-start it from the beginning.

Vladimir, I'm not sure how but I don't remember what happened with this
email and this (#647312) bugreport. Someone else referred to this
bugreport and I found your email which went unanswered since Dec-2011,
which is more than a year ago already. I don't remember whenever I
read any further replies on this. The bugreport has been archived
(I just unarchived it).

So, do you have issues with winXP networking in qemu-kvm still? The
issue which #647312 is about is now fixed (it was actual bug in qemu
regarding windows "standard PC" HAL), but you said there's something
else which is problematic? If that's the case, let's open another
bugreport (since it must be something else).

Thanks,

Thanks. I uploaded it to wheezy-test.

But it change the behavoir of the proxy setup system to no longer allow
the WPAD URL to be replaced in /etc/debian-edu/config. I believe this
feature is used at least at one large site, and thus would like to keep
the ability to specify the WPAD URL in /etc/debian-edu/config. Is this
possible using libproxy-tools?

I think the bug is not in NumPy, see:

This bug has been exposed when some Breaks have been added in

Bug#701137: pybuild using skip-build=1 for distutils breaks distutils-extra i18n

No, I don't realize that all. Distutils etc. may not be well designed, but
the bug here is that pybuild is passing a non-default option that's
incompatible with existing uses. I don't see how that's a distutils
problem. OTOH, I also don't know why pybuild is passing skip-build=1,
except as an optimization?

There are 39 packages in unstable that build-depend on
python-distutils-extra, and it looks like about half of them use build_i18n.
The build_icons and build_help classes are also affected.

So depending on why skip-build=1 is being set, it's possible that it's not
worth pybuild being compatible out-of-the-box with distutils-extra. But it
would be nice if the universal python builder could handle this case.

"Replay" has the advantages of being short, unambiguous and well
understood by French speakers. I tend to favor the ease of
communication over the 100% French based words. Recurrent debate here,
I know ;)

Agreed. And it is not slowed down.

Among French words I agree. But "enregistrement" is a general term
including many types of recordings like audio, text or any king of
signal, while replay seems univocal to me.

Note I have choosen a slighly higher delay as proposed in

Thanks for testing (and thanks to Holger for passing on the report).
Am I correct in guessing that the 3.2.y kernel from wheezy or
squeeze-backports works fine?

We might be able to backport the missing support to the 2.6.32.y
kernel in a future squeeze point release if it's simple. Pursuing
that would require a little information about your wifi card (its PCI
id) and some help testing it. Output from

  reportbug --template linux-image-$(uname -r)

should be enough to get started.

Hope that helps,

This is ungrammatical, and when I look at debconf-escape(1) it seems
to tell me the "escape" capability does not represent additional
support --- instead it represents different behavior.

How about

The frontend expects commands sent to it to have backslashes
and newlines quoted as \\ and \n respectively and will
in turn quote backslashes and newlines in its replies.
See debconf-escape
1.

?

Um, do you mean that when installing squeeze on your hardware:

 1. The b43 driver does not work out of the box
 2. Running "sudo update-initramfs -u" is enough to get it working
 3. An alternative way to get it working is to install the b43 driver
from compat-drivers

?

In any case, please attach output from

This bug makes udev litter the terminal output before X is

I don't use any MTP devices, so I would like to avoid having

Bug#701531: fusionforge-plugin-oslc: directory vs. symlink conflict: /etc/gforge/config.ini.d

2013-02-24 Thread Andreas Beckmann
Package: fusionforge-plugin-oslc
Version: 5.2-1
Severity: serious
User: debian...@lists.debian.org
Usertags: piuparts

Hi,

during a test with piuparts I noticed your package installs files over
an existing symlink shipped or created by another package.

Your package ships:

  /etc/gforge/config.ini.d/oslc.ini

but package gforge-common ships:

  /etc/gforge/config.ini.d -> ../fusionforge/config.ini.d

Installing something over existing symlinks is considered bad practice.
See e.g. http://lists.debian.org/87ehlevcrf@windlord.stanford.edu

It may break in subtle ways and dpkg cannot detect this as a problem.
* Your package might silently overwrite files installed at the symlink
  destination by other packages.
* If the package shipping the symlink decides to make the link point
somewhere else (or turn it into a real directory), the files owned
by your package "will be lost" somewhere in the filesystem.
* Depending on installation order the problematic path will be created
either as a symlink or a directory: the package installed first will
"win" and all others have "lost".
Note that dpkg intentionally does not replace directories with
symlinks and vice versa, see in particular the end of point 4 in

http://www.debian.org/doc/debian-policy/ch-maintainerscripts.html#s-unpackphase
(Note: Adding Pre-Depends is *not* a solution.)

Please move the files shipped in your package to the "real" location.

>From the attached log (usually somewhere in the middle...):

Feel free to approach the release team. I can easily create a Wheezy package
with only this change in it, if they approve.

Oh, but upstream already changed the COMPILE_CHECK macros in 0.11. I tried them
out and they seemed to work without problems, but maybe I did something wrong?

Ok then I did not correctly check whether this really fixed the issue. I guess
I didn't use gcc 4.8 after all.

Bug#701533: project: UDD can not access PET database on wagner.debian.org

2013-02-24 Thread Andreas Tille
Package: project
Severity: normal

Hi,

since PET moved from a private machine to wagner.debian.org. This had
the side effect that the UDD job was not able to access the PET database
any more. A solution was proposed on the Debian QA mailing list[1]
which should be an entry into pg_hba.conf:

# access as guest to pet from udd.debian.org
hostpet guest 206.12.19.141/32trust
hostpet guest
2607:f8f0:610:4000:6564:a62:ce0c:138d/128 trust

Several weeks ago I contacted alioth admins on IRC and they explained
that this solution will not work because of some firewall admin
implemented by some hoster. Alioth admins were unable / unwilling to
give some honest / helpful time estimation when this can be solved.

It might make sense to consider different means to inject PET data into
UDD than relying on the direct postgresql connection (some intermediate
data file copied via rsync comes to mind.)

I just intend to record this issue here in BTS to enable reasonable
handling of the problem.

Kind regards

Andreas.

In the particular case, I do not really care which way this is done
since the current fix is fairly simple and documentation only.
Had the changes been more complex I would probably have insisted on
taking the current changes as they were and the other fix in a separate
upload[1].

I merely reverted my unblock because of Alexander's "Hold on please
[...]", which sounded like there was not an agreement on how this case
should be handled.

Upstream has committed a fix for the issue but also concluded that this

So either the patch needs to be applied to openconnect or the package needs to
be unblocked as-is. Both are valid options in my opinion.

If you mean commit d2628144 from Jun 3 2012, it's not enough. It was enough
at that point, but gcc-4.8 was far from being released (Feb 9 2013). I made
a further fix on Aug 27, which narrowly missed the branching of 0.11. I
cherry-picked that commit into 0.11 only today at 5am (and it's in no point
release yet).

> I tried them out and they seemed to work without problems, but maybe I did

It worked for me in pbuilder (gcc-4.7) but not on my live system (gcc-4.8),
where it fails on this COMPILE_CHECK, same as in Matthias' rebuild.

Seems so -- it's in gcc-defaults only in experimental.

Bug#701333: openttd: ftbfs with GCC-4.8

2013-02-24 Thread Rubidium
It looks like GCC 4.8 inserts certain comments into files while
preprocessing. In this case the C preprocessor is used to put some files
together before passing it through NFOrenum/GRFcodec. These tools do not
support the /* */ style comments that the C preprocessor (-E) has added
to the file.

The interesting question is why GCC 4.8 decided to add these comments,
especially since they weren't in GCC 4.7.

We have to retain the comments from the original files into the merged
file since they contain a small bit of versioning information needed. As
a result, we cannot run the preprocessor without -C. This means that the
comments the preprocessor adds (for no apparent reason) breaks
compilation. It will not only break OpenTTD compilation, but any
external project that compiles a GRF in the same way OpenTTD does. Which
is a significant part of the community.

What are the reasons for adding these extra comments to preprocessed
files? Especially when they imply that the preprocessed file is part of
the GNU C library. Should this bug be reassigned to GCC because this is
a regression.

Remko 'Rubidium' Bijker

Hi Nathan,

Are you still interested or working in adopting this package? I have
prepared a new package (targeting latest stable version 1.1.1) and I'm
interested in adopting medit if you don't have any objections.

Bug#701538: pre-approval of acpid/1:2.0.16-1+deb7u1

2013-02-24 Thread Philipp Kern
Package: release.debian.org
Severity: normal
User: release.debian@packages.debian.org
Usertags: unblock

Hi,

the attached patch fixes an issue with acpid running under systemd.
acpid ships its own unit files for systemd, instead of using the init
script. The one that should've replaced the init script does, however,
not get activated with the acpid package in wheezy and hence acpid does
not start on boot. This means, for instance, that VMs running wheezy
with systemd will not respond to the power button. This is how libvirt &
KVM signal that a VM should shut itself down.

The patch, courtesy of Michael Biebl, is very minimal:

diff --git a/debian/acpid.service b/debian/acpid.service
index 733edc9..b998711 100644
--- a/debian/acpid.service
+++ b/debian/acpid.service
@@ -5,3 +5,6 @@ Requires=acpid.socket
 [Service]

+
+[Install]
+WantedBy=multi-user.target

Could the acpid maintainers upload this change with version
1:2.0.16-1+deb7u1 to t-p-u? Unstable does contain a new upstream version
and hence the fix cannot propagate from there, even though it's fixed in
unstable already.

Kind regards
Philipp Kern

Bug#701539: ITP: flexbar -- flexible barcode and adapter removal for sequencing platforms

2013-02-24 Thread Tony Travis
Package: wnpp
Severity: wishlist
Owner: Tony Travis

* Package name: flexbar
  Version : 2.32-1
  Upstream Author : Matthias Dodt
,Johannes T. Roehremail

* URL : https://sourceforge.net/projects/flexbar
* License : GPL-3.0+
  Programming Lang: C++
Description : flexible barcode and adapter removal for sequencing
platforms

Flexbar preprocesses high-throughput sequencing data efficiently. It
demultiplexes barcoded runs and removes adapter sequences. Moreover,
trimming and filtering features are provided. Flexbar increases mapping
rates and improves genome and transcriptome assemblies. It supports
next-generation sequencing data in fasta/q and csfasta/q format from
Illumina, Roche 454, and the SOLiD platform.

Someone first has to manually check that these packages use distutils
(look for something along the lines of "python setup.py install
--install-layout=deb" in debian/rules) and doesn't move around stuff
manually in debian/rules or elsewhere; binNMUs should then be safe
(although I still think source uploads to get python3.2-dev (>=
3.2.3-7) added to build-depends of each of these packages should be
done). I'll get around to looking at the rest of these bugs
(eventually), as they should be easy to fix in the above holds true.

Andreas, if I understood your analysis of #700782 correctly, the
hypothetical situation that an user unpacks any of the affected
packages (or an older version prior to being rebuilt against
python3.2-dev (>= 3.2.3-7)) before python3.2-dev to trigger this bug
still exists, right? In that case, python3.2-dev should probably still
add a Conflicts: relationship with all of the affected packages; I
wonder if Matthias might have anything to say about this?

Vincent

No, the initial bug report was from amd64.
Obove sequence was tried on amd64, see crash report attached.
So I could reproduce it on i386 and amd64.
(the backtrace seems to differ quite a lot, but that might be unrelated
to the architecture)

It is already filed upstream: https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=315683

But maybe it is already fixed in a later kde version and the problem only
exists in wheezy.

Can you fix it for wheezy if an patch is available?

I reported it on the debian bug reporter in the hope it might be fixed in
wheezy because it is a very annoying bug for usability.

Bug#701540: luajit: FTBFS on powerpcspe

There is powerpcspe specific code, but it's broken (colliding with some C
symbol). Upstream's 2.0.1 is fixed already, so the attached patch is a backport
of this fix.

Thanks,

Roland

Bug#701541: pidgin: unusable IRC accounts (libirc.so is not loadable: undefined symbol: sasl_client_step)

2013-02-24 Thread intrigeri
Package: pidgin
Version: 2.10.7-1
Severity: important

Dear Maintainer,

I've upgraded libpurple* and pidgin* from 2.10.6-3 to 2.10.7-1,
restarted Pidgin, and here's what happens:

  * my XMPP accounts work fine
  * my IRC accounts don't connect to servers
  * in the Accounts menu, each IRC account is listed with "(unknown)"
as a protocol, instead of e.g. "(XMPP)" for XMPP accounts
  * in the edit account dialog, AIM is pre-selected in the protocol
list for these IRC accounts. IRC does not appear in the list.

Here's the beginning of the console output when run with --debug, look
for "libirc.so is not loadable" in particular:

Bug#699145: bind9: CVE-2012-5689

Hello,

I'm providing a summary of the issue following my investigation as
a non-bind9 developer:

- a DoS (server crash with assertion failure) in a rare configuration
involving both DNS64 and Response Policy Zones, when maintaining A
rewrite rules but not rewrite rules
- the workaround is to make sure the RPZ contains a rewrite rule
  for every A rewrite rule
- there is no production-quality patch available upstream (but there is
a patch in 9.8.5b1). "However, the suggested workaround is a complete
remedy for those who are using DNS64 in conjunction with RPZ, and is
recommended in preference to running beta code in a production
  environment."

Given these, I am not convinced that this should be RC for wheezy.
How about a NEWS item drawing attention to the issue and workaround,
and a downgrade to important?

Note: I was unable to find any public upstream VCS for BIND 9 so was
unable to easily find the relevant patch. Could the BIND 9 maintainers
comment on whether they would consider including the patch?

Cheers,
Dominic.

This is fixed upstream, commit 0ea7abaed5. It'd probably be backportable.

Very much NAK to adding conflicts against packages at this stage,

This report is written from Lenny, but I tried the Wheezy install into a clean

I used DVD1 + network connection as medias.
After the download of all packages, just before the installation of them, the
D-I asks the user to put DVD1 into /cdrom/ .The DVD is already in the drive and
the D-I used it for the whole process before so I don't understand why this
question is asked and why D-I could not find it anymore.
Thus, I could not finish the install.

Fair enough, I'll leave it to your discretion whether to tag #701071
and #701045 as wheezy-ignore, or just close them altogether.

The rest of the bugs need at least a binNMU (rebuild against the fixed
python3.2-dev package) before they can be closed.

Yeah, being able work on the appendices piecemeal will make it easier,
otherwise it gets difficult to see what's done and what's pending, as
long as the incremental changes are valid by themselves.

It would be ok I guess, better than the current situation, although
I don't really see the point in that. Those sections will end up being
removed at some point anyway, that's why I updated the initial section
to point to the dpkg man pages if any was missing, and as long as they
do not get renumbered (something I took care of), that should not
introduce confusion.

Also, as an aside, I don't think any section should be removed, before
the information therein has been moved to a correct place, like dpkg
documentation, devref, maint-guide or the main policy itself, etc.

Thanks,
Guillem

Bug#701547: libgrib2c-dev: Package does not contain static library libgrib2c.a

2013-02-24 Thread Hugh Pumphrey
Package: libgrib2c-dev
Version: 1.2.2-2+b1
Severity: important

Dear Maintainer,

I note that the description for package libgrib2c-dev states that the
package contains the static libraries and headers needed to build
applications against libgrib2. However, the package does not actually
appear to contain the static library: see "dpkg -L " output below.

I know that static libraries are a bit old-fashioned. But one of the
reasons for installing libgrib2c-dev is to build the wgrib2 utility.
(See http://www.cpc.ncep.noaa.gov/products/wesley/wgrib2 )
And the configure scripts for that utility expect static versions of
all the libraries which it uses.

I hope this report is useful

Best wishes

Hugh Pumphrey

This is due to PowerPC/Altivec code that doesn't work on powerpcspe.

Bug#699619: psi: breaks audio after some sounds (maybe about 30 or 50) were played

2013-02-24 Thread Martin Teufel
Hello Jan,

thank you for the hint.
It is indeed a concurrency problem.
I got the problem once again and had a look at my process list.
There were two instances of aplay running, blocking the sounddevice.
Sending them SIGTERM solved the problem / freed it again.

Remains the question why sometimes an aplay process does not terminate
well... So it may still be a bug.

Regards,
Martin

Thanks for the more accurate patch, but I had the same bug in
three different packages and this is going to be fixed upstream anyway
(since they are GNU packages) so I applied the simple patch in this case.

I am not sure if either Franklin or Arno, who both responded to the RFA,
want to take care of it? If not I can upload an updated version...

Hello,

I have just setup a test system in my squeeze chroot, using dovecot
with passdb passwd-file as authentication source. It worked for me. I
have tried AUTH PLAIN, CRAM-MD5 and DIGEST-MD5.

However I do not know whether any systematic testing was done.

This just does not feel right to me. It is exactly the kind of
information belongs into the changelog, and that is where it is.

Yes, I can do that later this week after 3.20-3 transitions. I'd prefer
to apply the upstream fix [1] as is, which touches all reallocs as
possible leaks, ok with you? Or should I limit it to the realloc in this
latest diff as reported?

Bug#701543: RFS: spout/1.4-1 [ITA] -- Tiny abstract black and white 2D cave-shooter

2013-02-24 Thread Anton Gladky
Hi Scott,

thanks for adopting the package. There are a couple of notes/questions:

1. Why do you use compat level 8, not 9?
2. The current Standards-Version is now 3.9.4.
3. Why VCS-field is commented out? It is better to use VCS for packaging.
4. Why libsdl1.2debian is injected to Depends manually? Is it linked
against spout?
5. I would suggest to target the upload into experimental branch instead
of unstable due to a freeze-period.
6. It seems, desktop-file is not installing.

Best regards,

Anton

Thank you!

The bug is fixed with claws-mail as it can establish SSL connections.
If it is fixed also with midori/webkit, this new version should be

Bug#701565: ekiga: FTBFS on powerpcspe

2013-02-24 Thread Roland Stigge
Package: ekiga
Version: 3.2.7-5
Severity: wishlist
Tags: patch sid
User: debian-powerpc...@breakpoint.cc
Usertags: powerpcspe

Hi,

ekiga FTBFS on powerpcspe[1] like this:

[...]
checking for ANSI C header files... (cached) yes
checking whether strcasecmp is declared... yes
checking whether OS type is supported...
configure: error: Only Linux, FreeBSD, NetBSD, Solaris and Mac OS X are
supported. Please contact the author to know how you can add more OS types.
make: *** [build-stamp] Error 1
dpkg-buildpackage: error: debian/rules build gave error exit status 2
[...]

The attached patch fixes this by adding the respective architecture ids
via fix-linux-gnueabihf-build.patch which should be changed as an archs
extending patch rather than a series of patches that patch the same
lines again.

Thanks,

Roland

Bug#701566: gnupg: wrong length of month used for key expiration date

2013-02-24 Thread Michael Below
Package: gnupg
Version: 1.4.12-7
Severity: minor

Dear Maintainer,

today I generated a new key (0xfaaad43b), and I set the expiration
date to 24 months. I had expected this to be the same as two
years, as it is defined in the calendar. In fact, it is ten days
less.

It looks like gpg assumes that one month = 30 days, so a timespan
of one month from today, according to gpg, ends not on March 24th,
but on March 26th. This is obviously wrong.

GnuPG should use the measure month as defined in the calendar.
Alternatively, it could define its own measure, but then it should
be named differently.

Thanks for your efforts!

Michael Below

Since gnugp-agent depends on pinentry anyway, depending on pinentry
would be redundant:

% acsh gnupg-agent | grep Depends:
Depends: libassuan0 (>= 2.0.2), libc6 (>= 2.7), libgcrypt11 (>=

I'll add a Recommends on gnugp-agent.

The redirection is wrong, it should simply be ">&2", since only the
stderr will be logged:

  Return codes and logging

If a hook script returns with an exit code of 0, the libvirt daemon
regards this as successful and performs no logging of it.

However, if a hook script returns with a non zero exit code, the
libvirt daemon regards this as a failure, logs it with return code
256, and additionally logs anything on stderr the hook script returns.

This is already fixed upstream:
http://email.uoa.gr/avelsieve/changeset/1091

I'm attaching a debdiff that incorporates this changeset as a quilt
patch. (With one more "session_unregister" rewritten, also fixed
upstream in r1113.)

Cheers,

Bug#701564: apt: when some mirror are unavailable, apt pinning failed

I assume the unavailable repositories include the experimental ones
for which the pinning is "ignored"?

I guess APT kills InReleases in some situations even if it claims that
it has kept them back and will use "the old files".

Could you confirm this with a listing of /var/lib/apt/lists, e.g. with
find /var/lib/apt/lists
?

The output of "apt-cache policy" probably confirms it too in a slightly
different way as it will lack the "release" line for these Packages files.

If you have squeeze available feel free to test it with apt/squeeze
(which doesn't have InRelease) - it should behave as advertised.

Best regards

David Kalnischkies

Bug#701567: inetutils-ping: Failing to resolve IPv6 address should not show error

2013-02-24 Thread Samuel Thibault
Source: inetutils-ping
Version: 2
Severity: normal

Hello,

For instance:

€ ping6 2001:910:1059:2::1
PING 2001:910:1059:2::1 (2001:910:1059:2::1): 48 data bytes
ping: getnameinfo: Temporary failure in name resolution
56 bytes from unknown: icmp_seq=0 ttl=64 time=0.082 ms

This is not really pretty (and the numeric address could at least be
shown instead of "unknown", by passing NI_NUMERICHOST to getnameinfo).

Iputils-ping does not show this:

€ ping6 2001:910:1059:2::1
PING 2001:910:1059:2::1(2001:910:1059:2::1) 56 data bytes
64 bytes from 2001:910:1059:2::1: icmp_seq=1 ttl=64 time=0.047 ms

because in the case of a numeric address given on the command line,
iputils-ping automatically enables the NUMERIC option. Maybe
inetutils-ping should do the same.

Samuel

Aha. Backtrace?

> Very annoying bug ...

Also annoying that you report
 a) the same bug twice against the same set and version of packages
 b) against a version which will not receive non-release-critical or
non-security
fixes anymore.

Try with 3.6.5 (http://people.debian.org/~rene/libreoffice/3.6.5) or 4.0.x (->
experimental)

I am not going to deal with this bug in 3.5.x.

And because you know it's a problem with libreoffice-gnome you report a second
copy "just" for
libreoffice-impress?

Thank you very much for the quick (and positive ;-) response.

I will need to bother you a little bit more. - In the first
test-package, I simply grabbed all patches from upstream
LIBGCRYPT-1-5-BRANCH. However to make an upload to unstable (targeted
for wheezy) I need to get the number of differences down to the
relevant patches. Could you please test whether
http://people.debian.org/~ametzler/libgcrypt11_1.5.0-3+test+2_i386.deb
also does the trick? It just adds three patches
(35_Avoid-dereferencing-pointer-right-after-the-end.patch
39_Fix-segv-with-AES-NI-on-some-platforms.patch
40_libgcrypt-1.5-rinjdael-Fix-use-of-SSE2-outside-USE_A.patch) instead
of 11.

thanks in advance, cu andreas

Besides, that, when I click on "notes" it does *NOT* crash for me. (and yes,
I am under GNOME and have -gnome installed). Pure wheezy/amd64.

So you want to give more info in any case. Right now beisdes that this doesn't

Indeed, I even marked it as such. My bad :-/ Sorry for the noise :-)

I think we are still on time, but we need a patch for that.

Bug#701569: libvirt-bin: should Recommends: pm-utils for pm-is-supported

Hi there,

I just discovered the following in libvirt's log:

First, the CHECKSUM problem is an old one (see #598330): while this is
simply a warning, IMHO it should be fixed in the backports as well.

Second, since pm-is-supported is shipped by pm-utils, libvirt-bin should
at least Recommends: pm-utils. Please note, however, that pm-utils
ships more than utilities (e.g. suspend/resume quirks and so on), which
means that IMHO it is not suited for a server installation as it is.
Something like powermgmt-base would be better.

Thx, bye,
Gismo / Luca

Bug#620225: reportbug: Patch is working good

2013-02-24 Thread falconbird
Package: reportbug
Version: 6.4.3
Followup-For: Bug #620225

Dear Maintainer,

It looks like the introduced patch is working good and solves the problem.

So please update this package and get rid of this awful bug. I think that it
must be done
before wheezy release.

Thanks

Hi,

ekiga FTBFS on powerpcspe[1] like this:

[...]
checking for ANSI C header files...

Does ekiga build successfully and work with your patch?

If yes, could we "commit" the patch only for version in experimental,
since 3.2 versions are not maintained upstream anymore?

I think the new driver from compat-drivers is needed, but until Thomas
ran update-initramfs the old driver would still be loaded from the
initramfs.

Comparing with the French, this second paragraph should say
HWCLOCKACCESS=no. Otherwise it is contradicting the first...

Hi!

I will need scantailor soon on Debian wheezy. Should I install it from source?

Best regards
