So I would suggest: "The graphics have moved." 2. .po:3 auto: ⑤Type: note auto: ⑤Description reference: ⑤../templates:3 Original: ⌘0 The pictures formerly contained in the muttprint package have now split out to the 'ospics' package to allow them be installed without installing muttprint and the dependencies (tetex-*) or to having installed a smaller package for those who do not want the images. The final sentence is unclear. Do you mean that users who don't want the graphics files, can now install a smaller package? If so, I would suggest: "This also means that users who don't want the graphics, can install a smaller package." 3. po:5 auto: ⑤Type: note auto: ⑤Description reference: ⑤../templates:3 Original: ⌘0 So, If you want to use your pictures you have used yet you have to do the following steps:\n a) install ospics ;)\n b) change the path to the files in your configuration "So, if you want to use your existing graphics, you need to:" 4. .po:8 auto: ⑤Type: note auto: ⑤Description reference: ⑤../templates:19 Original: ⌘0 perl 5.8 (and the Debian versions before 5.8.0-16 which includes the fix) have problems with UTF8 as they apperently double-encode the string. "apparently" 5. po:9 auto: ⑤Type: note auto: ⑤Description reference: ⑤../templates:19 Original: ⌘0 To use muttprint's UTF8 features you need to use that version or higher... This is confusing. You've already said that version 5.8 isn't compatible with UTF-8, then you say here that in order to use muttprint's UTF-8 features, one should use "that version or higher". "That version" means perl 5.8 here, which isn't compatible. If you mean that one must use a later version of perl than 5.8, then I would suggest: "To use muttprint's UTF-8 features, you need to use a later version of perl." Indeed that was a bad approach, storage quotas should be managed by fs quotas, properly, not ftp-based. But that's my own opinion about that. Currently sarge has been released as is, so this won't be an etch regression, and it's too late for woody->sarge. The whole set of old modules like mod_quota or mod_opie are currently unmaintained, and upstream will probably release a prxps for compiling in DSO modules (post 1.3.0 AFAIK), so who will have those kind of problems will be able to compile (and support) his/her own modules for that. I think we should stay with the current configuration. A software such as suphp cannot have common compile time options suitable for all users:( Default php4 cgi configuration doesn't set the user_dir and doc_root options. Many users are already using this debian packages and a change like this one is maybe not what they expect for a software with such security implications (If I change this compile option I will have to issue a big "Warning" on upgrade). In the second instance a lot of people have the mistaken belief that hotkey actually makes the changes to things like speaker volume, power-up mode etc. For the class of Toshiba laptop it was written what actually happens is that the Fn combinations make the changes regardless of whether hotkeys is running or not. What hotkey does is report those changes in a user friendly way in an manner identical to the old Toshiba MaxTime program. the --move option. This patch is against /usr/bin/gotmail version
0.8.2-3 (the current version in sarge).
I have not extensively tested the patch but it works for me and looks
like it is not very intrusive.
(looking at the bug 282175 history, this seems to be (at least partly)
part of the patch in gotmail_041120.patch)

- You suspect that somehow XrmGetFileDatabase() gets called as a
different userid to the running user.

I must admit some suprise at this. I can't see any way that fluxbox
could run anything at all as anything other than the calling
user. (Except in the case where the calling user is 'root', but even
then, there isn't anything in the fluxbox code that will change
userids.
I suspect that your problem is related to the file
permissions/ownerships on the ~/.fluxbox directory, and the
~/.fluxbox/init file.
Could you please check if the file/directory ownerships are the same
as the user who runs fluxbox?

When upgrading my woody system to sarge (following the procedure recommended by the release notes) it fell over like this: [...] Selecting previously deselected package libxft2. Unpacking libxft2 (from .../libxft2_2.1.7-1_i386.deb) ... Selecting previously deselected package libxi6. Unpacking libxi6 (from .../libxi6_4.3.0.dfsg.1-14_i386.deb) ... Selecting previously deselected package libxt6. Unpacking libxt6 (from .../libxt6_4.3.0.dfsg.1-14_i386.deb) ... /usr/bin/perl: relocation error: /usr/lib/perl5/auto/Text/Iconv/Iconv.so: undefined symbol: Perl_Gthr_key_ptr dpkg: error processing /var/cache/apt/archives/libxt6_4.3.0.dfsg.1-14_i386.deb (--unpack): subprocess pre-installation script returned error exit status 127 [...] and then of course everything else in that dpkg run that was depending on libxt6 failed to configure either. Judging from the archives this is bug 278417. It doesn't seem to be easy to just install the fixed version of debconf early because it has all sorts of dependencies, so I think the easiest thing is probably to use the workaround suggested in that bug of setting PERL_DL_NONLAZY=1 when running aptitude. It worked for me, anyway. Since that bug has been closed and archived I'm filing this bug to say that you need to update the release notes. This isn't a 'pure' woody system (bunch of stuff from backports and 2.6 kernel compatibility packages) but I don't think that's relevant. If I press 2 times the same key enought fast, fluxbox will run another instance of aumix before the previous to be terminated. Then, when the first process exits, his father (fluxbox) doesn't wait it to exit. So, the first process has exit, but fluxbox doesn't know it -> that makes a zombie. Just try to associate a key with the following script : #!/bin/sh sleep 10 And then press twice the associated key. This problem occurs to all scripts which need to parse outputs.
