Bug#309583: Unreproducible on system with real OpenGL support
I cannot reproduce this on my system, which is fast enough and has real OpenGL drivers. It handles SIGTERM, it shows graphics, shows window title. It grabs the mouse, yes. But here it also has focus when it does that. You can escape it with pressing esc (if your system is juicy enough to run the game and the window is visible and handles input). Man page description is correct, except on "great fun" *smirk*. When a client uses a debian server that is not configured in the
allowed_locations config directive, then with debug=0 one has no
chance to diagnose the reason for the 403. And even with debug=1, all
you find in the logfile is:

location. Ask your system administrator.
I'd suggest making this a bit friendlier to the system administrator
who will be reading this. Something like
Host ftp.de.debian.org is not configured in the allowed_locations
directive, access denied.
It would not hurt anybody to both write this into the debuglog *and*
send it out to the client.
Possible patch appended.

The LKML thread indicates that FAT sync behaviour has been changed by Colin Leroy (http://readlist.com/lists/vger.kernel.org/linux-kernel/22/112590.html). The discussion thread for this patch is at http://www.ussg.iu.edu/hypermail/linux/kernel/0411.3/.html For the record, I'd like to publicly state here: - pmount should get rid of default sync ASAP for the moment, in order to avoid too many killed USB sticks - contrary to the strange belief of certain people: "we don't need a new sync mode", http://readlist.com/lists/vger.kernel.org/linux-kernel/22/112509.html) , I do think we want a special mount mode (if possible), to indicate that we want fast, but not ultra-immediate (sync) writeout of dirty buffers. The usual caching in async mode will take too long for people to notice that things aren't fully written yet (the USB flash LED will switch off again!), thus we need faster processing (almost constant writing without many dropouts would be desireable, yet not as crazy as updates on every single-byte change as with the sync flag). Plus, thinking of *manually* using "umount" or even something esoteric as "sync" is absolutely unthinkable for "less educated" (ahem) people who unplug things on a whim. Such a new mount flag could be called "nowritecache" or "nowritebuffer" to indicate that we don't want any write caching in the OS. But this is not a very accurate description of what we really want to have with USB sticks, so maybe "fastwrite" (preferred) or "instantwrite" or "immediatewrite" (hmm) are better. Turns out that dpkg-architecture iterates through cputable and ostable
in whatever order the regexes happen to come out of the %cputable_re and
%ostable_re hashes. In practice the first one is always /gnu[^-]*/, and
since the first gcc-4.0 upload to Ubuntu after we synced dpkg_1.13.4
picked up the change to DEB_HOST_GNU_TYPE and started to spit out
*-linux-gnu in 'gcc -dumpmachine', /gnu[^-]*/ always matches on Linux.
I fixed this using the following patch (I can't seem to get to your arch
archive right now):

cputable probably didn't need to be changed since it's fully anchored,
unlike ostable which is only partially anchored, but I did it anyway for
symmetry.
However, you should probably also reorder ostable so that the least
specific regexes are last, otherwise this will cause dpkg-architecture
to think that both KFreeBSD and KNetBSD are the Hurd. Moving hurd after
kfreebsd and knetbsd would be sufficient.

Could you reproduce this with a fixed list, i.e. give a script that
creates the directories and files, generates the list (e.g. with find)
and then calls rsync? That might help to make it clear what exactly is
going wrong...

Package: bash Version: 2.05b-26 Severity: normal If the readline option completion-ignore-case is on and a name completion attempt fails because there is ambiguity about the next character, then any special characters in the name are escaped even though they must already be escaped. The escaped name is truncated to the number of characters it represents before undergoing re-escaping. This does not happen if any further characters can be guessed or if completion-ignore-case is off. This bug appears to have been fixed in version 3. We record the process IDs of all processes with a valid handle to the environment, so we can detect unclean exits and force a recovery only when needed.
