Problem with firmware loading
Hallo. I have download the debian testing iso file from 05.01.20114. My laptop have a intel centrino 1000 wlan card. this card needs non-free firmware but the debian installer dont load the firmware from usb device. the usb device ist fromated with FAT and the firmware is on root. Probleme with the firmware-iwlwifi
Hello. I have test the installer from 22.12.2014. I can not install the Firmware for my Laptop. The installer need iwlwifi-1000-5.ucode iwlwifi-1000-4.ucode iwlwifi-1000-3.ucode iwlwifi-1000-2.ucode iwlwifi-1000-1.ucode but only the iwlwifi-1000-5.ucode is on the firmware-iwlwifi 0.43 and it works only with iwlwifi-1000-5.ucode. I found another bug. If the installer ask to install firmware and you not insert the usb stick, but you press enter the massage comes agnain but it double the output wich firmware it need. Hallo ich wollte mal Debian wheezy neu aufsetzen. Ich habe mir die Alpha 1 Version des Debian Wheezy installers runter geladen Installation ging auch ohne Probleme aber als ich das neu installierte system Botten wollte blieb der Kernel ohne Fehlermeldung bei Waiting to /dev. hängen. Mein MB ist ein Asus rampage II und meine Grafikkarte ist ein Zotac Nvidia Geforce GTX550Ti AMP OverClocked Edition.
