On that note - ftp-master, any preferences for order? :-) Mark said it was okay to migrate, so I've added an unblock hint for tonight's britney run. win32-loader has now migrated. As it turns out, the files in /tools/ had inadvertantly been updated already (due to a bugette which has now been removed). Bug#665856: debian-installer: Fails to install GRUB on a Sony VPCZ2 laptop with two SSD drives in RAID 0
Package: debian-installer Version: Daily build (sorry I don't remember the exact day…) Severity: important Tags: d-i Dear Maintainer, I downloaded a daily build business card iso to install Debian Sid on my brother's laptop (a Sony VPCZ2) which has two SSD drives in RAID 0. When the installer tried to install GRUB on the disk it failed. I've had to modify /boot/grub/device.map to add a line with /dev/md126 and manualy install GRUB on /dev/md126. I hope this bug report can help since it is not very precise… Yann -- System Information: Debian Release: wheezy/sid APT prefers unstable APT policy: (500, 'unstable'), (1, 'experimental') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Kernel: Linux 3.2.0-2-amd64 (SMP w/2 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=fr_FR.utf8, LC_CTYPE=fr_FR.utf8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-boot-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe". Bug#665874: debian-installer: Debian-installer does not correctly set keymap if Norwegian Nynorsk is selected
Package: debian-installer Severity: normal Tags: l10n If Norwegian nynorsk is selected during install of current testing, the keymap is set to english in the installer, console and X. Bug#665885: e2fsprogs: libcomerr2.shlibs should point at e2fsprogs-udeb for udebs
Package: e2fsprogs Version: 1.42.1-2 Severity: important Tags: d-i (x-debbugs-cc to debian-boot and the btrfs-tools maintainer) btrfs-tools-udeb's btrfsctl and mkfs.btrfs seem to be linked against libcom_err.so.2, and the package ends up with a dependency on libcomerr2, which isn't an udeb. Since libcom_err seems to be included in e2fsprogs-udeb, I guess this means the shlibs file should be adjusted to point there. See the --add-udeb option to dh_makeshlibs. Oops, although I had cross-checked it, there was an inversion, and you were actually having Persian layout. It should get fixed by next console-setup upload.
