Bug#595140: win32-loader: Doesn't work win Windows 7

2010-09-01 Thread Didier Raboud
Package: win32-loader
Version: 0.6.18
Severity: important

Hi,

This is a "reminder bug" that win32-loader fails to work with Windows 7: at
reboot, Windows boots normally without prompting Grub.

Voilà !

Bug#595152: ZFS support

2010-09-01 Thread Robert Millan
Package: grub-installer
Version: 1.55
Severity: wishlist
Tags: patch

This patch adds ZFS support to grub-installer.

Note: findfs change is required because mount output only gives zpool name,
not the device associated with it. The other changes should be obvious.

please state the *exact* version of the daily images that were used to
build that image. in addition, make sure that you can still reproduce
the issue with the latest available daily image (please state the exact
version of that one too when you try).

Done: #592504, #592505, #593090 and #593093.
#592505 (libfakekey0) and #593090 (matchbox-keyboard-udeb) have already
been closed, but the packages will need a binNMU (they have been
uploaded despite #592504 blocking them) when libxtst6-udeb will be
available.

Mmm, IAUI, Just selecting "Brazil" will bring the Xorg br layout, which
will properly enable the abnt2 model.

amd64 daily images?

2010-09-01 Thread Vincent McIntyre
Hi,
I was trying to test something on squeeze/amd64 today.

What I wanted was a daily netboot image [1] so I could PXE boot into rescue
mode. But none of those amd64 dailies are building, according to overview.log.

I tried to fall back to a daily netinst cd image [2].
That fails with a 404 error.

So did multiarch [3].

Eventually I resorted to a weekly-snapshot full cd [4], which did work.

Can someone clarify what the problem is with getting the amd64 dailies built?
Is it just person-hours or is it buildds etc? Other arches hosted on d-i.d.o
are getting built ok. Not having these images makes it more difficult to test
stuff; I'd like to know if there's any prospect of this getting fixed.

Is there some pseudo-package that I should be opening a bug against,
for this issue?

Kind regards
Vince

PS.
Out of interest I took a look at the other daily-built images linked from [5].
Things seem in pretty good shape, apart from amd64 and ia64, though I guess
someone may need to take over the S/390 port, with fjp's passing.
