Pluma error repaired

2020-08-21 Thread Vojtěch šmiro

Hello,

someone repaired this strange bad error and Pluma don't crash now. But,
when my friend wrote something to his document on external HDD on
Stormux and he pressed close without saving because he didn't want to
save his changes, graphical environment failed, but he went to console,
logged in and reboot, but main thing is, Pluma works, cheers!

I would like to thank all people wwho tried to help me, and thanks to
some person who repaired the error. Thanks to all developers! I am
really happy now! I wish you all great health and condition, no errors
in your computers and great days.

Best regards

Vojta.

Braille indications of indentation in python

2020-08-21 Thread John J. Boyer
Hello,

Is there a way to get an indication of Python indentation on a Braille display.
I am thinking of helping with Orca development,
but if I look at the Python code with BRLTTY the tabs often result in my
display being completely blank.

Thanks,
John

Please avoid posting the same question separately on different lists.
Asking the question on several lists at the same time can increase the
likeliness of getting an answer, yes, but better post to the different
lists together in the same mail, so that all people get the answers
from the other lists in Cc, and thus know whether the question has been
answered, or even learn from the answers.

I guess the thread that started on the brltty mailing list will be more
useful to follow.

daisy-player 12.0

2020-08-21 Thread Jos Lemmens
Hello,

On my page http://jlemmens.nl you can find daisy-player version 12.0.
>From this version on each item can be started at any given second.
Skip left and right now skips 10 seconds forwards or backwards.
Also pause will resume at the last second.
A new option '-T' is introduced. Thanks to Colomban Wendling for this idea.
"-T" Do not display the time passing during playback.
daisy-player now has better support for media with "discinfo".
