[Debconf-team] frontdesk unstaffed / volunteers needed
Hi, this morning frontdesk wasnt staffed. People tried to print, to register, get name- and foodtickets. Not many people tried to buy wine yet but I actually sold a bottle already... ;-) http://wiki.debconf.org/wiki/DebConf9/FrontDeskSchedule is empty for today and the coming 2 days - we need to fix that, people leaving will also have questions... regards, Holger signature.asc Description: This is a digitally signed message part. ___ Debconf-team mailing list Debconf-team@lists.debconf.org http://lists.debconf.org/mailman/listinfo/debconf-team

Well, people why so much discussion instead of writing to sched...@debconf.org? I admit there was such a mail but I was offline yesterday basically because of daytrip and my slide show in the evening so I explicitely asked others in the team to reschedule. Because nothing happened until now I just moved it now. It perfectly fits in our policy to schedule 24 hours in advance. Hope this issue is solved now Andreas. PS: What about the projector in this room. We seemed to have failed in solving the problem. :-((( -- http://fam-tille.de ___ Debconf-team mailing list Debconf-team@lists.debconf.org http://lists.debconf.org/mailman/listinfo/debconf-team

Btw, people are complaining the (not really) portable air conditioner in the lower room is too noisy. So it's turned off. [Debconf-team] Orga meeting minutes
* Every is sponsored for the conference dinner and assumed to be attending if they're in Penta. * Leaving for meal at 21:25 tonight from MT. * For those people looking for t-shirts who have lost theirs or weren't in Penta we'll start giving away those we still have that haven't been picked up tomorrow. * Certificate of attendance. Gunnar/Dam to look at doing this for those who ask (for work purposes etc). Maybe produce a PDF for /everyone/? * Invoices for food/accommodation for people who paid on arrival? Jimmy/anto? * People are switching name tags; we should point out we won't accept people doing that and will refuse food if spotted. * Scheduling issues; people changing rooms - want to be able to block out rooms so this doesn't happen. Also a "No video" flag for events to prevent confusion. * aigars needs to chase people about the photo today * Front desk isn't getting covered enough. Get people to sign up on wiki page. * Final report. Nice to get this done before Jimmy talks to sponsors for DC10 in October. J. -- Do I BELIEVE in the Bible?!| .''`. For free? How many people really lost t-shirts? You can give a t-shirt to someone that didn't get it, but giving it to someone that lost it sounds a bit too generous to me. I suggest selling the surplus to people who might want to take one home for friends or the like. -- Besos, Marga ___ Debconf-team mailing list Debconf-team@lists.debconf.org http://lists.debconf.org/mailman/listinfo/debconf-team
