Needless restriction to DebConf18 statistics page
Hi, Thank you for DebConf18 team and atendees! I could enjoyed DebConf18! By the way, the following page is required login with Debian SSO, but it seems that there is no need to do so. Could you get rid of access restriction? https://debconf18.debconf.org/statistics/ Regards, -- Kentaro Hayashi

Re: Needless restriction to DebConf18 statistics page
Hi, I had registered to DebConf18, so there is no problem to see the page for me. But when posting blog entry about DebConf18 with link to referer the page, I've noticed that the page is required to login, so I've asked why. Anyway, I've heard the reason from Giacomo, I got it. Also, thanks Tyng-Ruey for kindly extracting statistics data as CSV. Will pre-recorded only talk be accepted for DebConf22?
Hi, I knew DebConf22 will be held as in-person event. In recent DebConf, I could participate by submitting a pre-recorded talk and attending live streaming for Q&A. In DebConf22, can we participate in one of the presentations? I mean: * submit pre-recorded talk * put pre-recorded talk to meetings-archive. ( https://meetings-archive.debian.net/pub/debian-meetings/2022/DebConf22/* ) * create a presentation page for each pre-recorded talk (https://debconf20.debconf.org/talks/* ) pros: No need to coordinate time table for pre-recorded only talk cons: Additional work is needed to debconf-team No in-person communication about the presentation :-< It is fun and a good chance to see a variety of presentations in DebConf, what do you think? Hi, https://lists.debian.org/debconf-discuss/2022/03/msg00022.html The important point of the above idea is just collecting talks and archiving it. Yes, it is an important Q&A session with a remote presenter, but it doesn't focus on it. Anyway, it seems that it is hard to do such a thing at this time. Thank you for thinking about it.
