HAM radio, free frequencies, bring my own rig
Hi, I have few question about HAM in Taiwan, is there anyone with HAM spirit? :) I'm OK3ON from Czech Republic with HAREC certificate. 1. It looks like Taiwan is not part of CEPT, so I can't use this license in Taiwan, right? 2. Are there any free-to-use (without license) frequencies available? PMR446/GMRS/FRS? 3. Is it legal to bring my hand-held radio into Taiwan (Baofeng UV-82)? 4. Should I have "any papers" with me? Thanks for replies. -- Best regards Ondřej Nový Email: n...@ondrej.org PGP: 3D98 3C52 EB85 980C 46A5 6090 3573 1255 9D1E 064B

I am not going either, although I would really have loved to talk about this too. For what it's worth, I'll try to attend remotely as well, although I have more challenges than timezone differences (network and space to not disturb my family members). > I think that now that CI is influencing testing migration this is as > relevant of a topic as ever. I had a BoF on gating testing with autopkgtest results last DebConf, where concerns were raised. Now that all pieces are in place, I would love to check the experience of the community as well as see which concerns remain. Paul signature.asc Description: OpenPGP digital signature

So, I guess, count me as volunteering. Hi, I have assigned the (public author for the) talk to Ian. It will be scheduled on Thursday, 11AM (so it's not a _terrible_ hour for Terceiro to participate remotely, although I think it will be for Paul... Sorry! :-] ) Greetings, signature.asc Description: PGP signature
