Re: [Debconf-discuss] late checkin at hotel

2011-07-12 Thread Simon Kainz
Hi,

we'll be arriving at about 03:00 am by bus on 24th. Any ideas how to
spend the very early hours? Any ideas which place to go? I thought about
going for some drinks... ;-)

Regards,

[Debconf-discuss] Wing Tsun?

2011-07-22 Thread Simon Kainz
Hi, I'm posting this for delYsid (ml...@debian.org), he has currently some
issues with mailinglist signup, so eventually reply to him.

--snip --

Hi.

Highly unlikely, but I still have to try: If you are into Wing Tsun,
maybe we can organize a little get-together with a bit of "sparring"? :-)

I am just on grad 4, so nothing really fancy.
Maybe a bit of (dan) chi sao or just a bit of form (snt, chum kiu...)?

If these terms make any sense to you without googling, drop me a mail :-)

Re: [Debconf-discuss] SVG presentations: jessyink

2011-07-26 Thread Simon Kainz

Posting this for delYsid:

Tom Marble writes:

I am not certain this can be made accessible.
From a first look, it does not look like it.
While SVG has some accessibility features built-in, opening a jessyink
SVG in firefox doesn't show any text to me.

In case people wonder, I personally prefer S5, which is highly
accessible, both on the authoring and the viewing side.

[Debconf-discuss] question concerning room assignment

2012-07-04 Thread Simon Kainz

Hi lsit,
am i the only one still not knowing where I am going to be accomodated
for Debconf? I'll arrive on July 7th.

I got a mail "debconf12 + shuttle service" teling me that

"People arriving on or after 7th July are staying at the Brandt Los
Robles de San Juan Hotel"

Is this still valid, or is there some more information available?

Thanks,
  Simon

as i am leaving DebConf tomorrow morning, and there are still some lighters

[Debconf-discuss] looking for Metro cards

2017-08-09 Thread Simon Kainz
Hi everyone,

as the (at least) 1 day Metro tickets are NFC capable cards, i would
everyone who still does not need it anymore to not thow it away but to
give it to me. I would need then for tinkering/hacking (in the best
positive way). So, please give them to me if you don't need them anymore.

Thanks a lot.
