I currently intend to book: For Joachim Breitner, Philip Hands, and myself: Sunday 31st July Zagreb - Munich dep 2115, arr 0615 Monday One 3-person sleeper berth I will do this tonight, when bookings open. Phil, are you returning via London ? What do you think of the itinerary here: http://lists.debian.org/debian-devel/2011/03/msg00769.html If you like I can book tickets on those trains for you too. I intend to go first class on ICE and Thalys if the prices are reasonable, but standard class on Eurostar, but I could be persuaded to go standard. Bookings for the ICE and Thalys open tomorrow night so please let me know ASAP. Re: [Debconf-discuss] Is arriving Friday 22nd ok?
I think we could get you a room on 22nd, but i am not sure how much you would have to pay for it. You can check the regular prices here: http://www.hotelbosna.com/hotele.html and in the mean time i will check to see if we can arrange something better (but it is not a promise!). I'll get back to you with more details. Velimir On Thu, Apr 28, 2011 at 6:15 PM, Nick Bane wrote: > If I get a flight to Zagreb on Friday 22nd, can I check in a day early? BTW are you aware that there are discount tickets to/from Germany via Brussels and the EuroStar? I'm not that bothered about 1st/2nd class, but will happily go 1st if the price hike is not too much. Eur69 each according to Seat 61 but I'm on the phone now and will let you know in a bit, hopefully. ... Well, the DB call centre has only two people on at this time of night (2am in the morning German time) and one of them is on break. The operator asked me to phone back in an hour but I will try tomorrow morning. > >http://lists.debian.org/debian-devel/2011/03/msg00769.html > > Yes, my destination on the return is London. > > BTW are you aware that there are discount tickets to/from Germany via > Brussels and the EuroStar? I saw those in the timetable but you'll see that the arrival time in London (20:03) is three hours later than my plan (17:03), almost entirely because of the late start from Munich (10:50, vs. 07:27). I would prefer to take the earlier trains. > The quoted discount fair for that is 69 EUR "fare". HTH :-). My plan will be rather more expensive. Feel free to book that if you prefer.
