No checks in Cáceres station :)

http://wiki.debconf.org/wiki/Debconf9/Travel/TrainBooking

Especially the "Madrid <-> Cáceres matrix" seems interesting.

[Debconf-discuss] Is it possible for not registered people to still apply for Debconf

2009-06-03 Thread Miguel Telleria de Esteban
Dear Debconf organisers,

I have registered, confirmed and paid my professional fee, so I guess
everything should be in order for me to have a room in Caceres hostels.

However I still have a question for non registered people if it is not
too late to register in Penta and subject to availability on the 8th of
this month start paying for booking places.

Regards,

Miguel, DD wanabee

Registration wont close, it's just to late for sponsoring. So just register,
attend, join Debian, be happy :)

I think there is a misunderstanding here. The Professional fee covers
sleeping accommodations, food, and all talks -- basically, everything.

So, if you are registered as professional, you are good to go.

I see you also included a question about the accommodation in Penta.
All of or rooms are double rooms in student or hostel-like
arrangements. Is this good? (You can reply straight to me if you
would like)

Thanks,

- Richard

[Debconf-discuss] arriving a bit early

2009-06-03 Thread Vagrant Cascadian
eagre to get to work during debcamp, it seems i've managed to schedule to
arrive in caceres about 1 day early, the evening of july 15th. though the
first day for sponsored lodging is the 16th, according to:

  http://debconf9.debconf.org/dates.xhtml

when i set my dates of arrival in pentabarf, it issues a warning for july 14th,
but not for july 15th. perhaps pentabarf and the above site should be in sync?

i might be able to find something for a night, if absolutely necessary, though
if there is the possibility of getting lodging with other debcamp attendees,
that would be great.

if there are suggestions for cheap lodging in caceres, that would be great,
too. i see some links here:

http://wiki.debconf.org/wiki/DebConf9/Accommodation#recommended_.2F_suggested_hotels

thanks for all your work!

live well,
  vagrant

p.s. i'm not subscribed to either list, please CC me in any direct responses.
