Tincho wants to add that you must bring your name tag, and that
everybody is invited (even people who are not hosted in the hotel).

[Debconf-discuss] ThinkPad links

Generally the hotels provide for that. For people checking out today,
they might find some other debconfer to use their room to put the
bags.

[Debconf-discuss] If you don't want your conference bag...

2008-08-16 Thread martin f krafft
The conference bags are awesome, and a great idea that we should
pursue next year as well.

Yet, some of us already have too much Debian stuff or stuff in
general or too much luggage and thus might want to leave the bags
here.

If you are one of those, come and speak to me. We can try to sell
your bag here, or back home, obviously in the name of
DebConf/Debian, or we can give them to other people who might want
them and couldn't attend. You are free to chose the destiny of your
bag and I will make sure your wishes are enacted.

Hi, the next week on Buenos Aires some of us will be at the Jornadas Regionales
de Software Libre
[0], and would be great to give/sell/something some of these unwanted-bags
there.

BTW, Also would be great if some of you could attend to this conference :)

I would looove a conference bag. I have silently followed this list,
annoyed that I planned my time so lousy that I had to cancel my trip.

If anyone has a spare bag (or if I still have one with my nametag on
lying there waiting for me :-P ), Id be happy if one of you could bring
it to Europe - Denmark is perhaps too much to hope for, but I expect to
get to Berlin, Hamburg and Gütersloh in the neir future too, where I
could pick it up (and pay for it if needed).

Greetings to you all from busy Denmark!

[Debconf-discuss] Eeepc envelope lost @ hacklab 1st floor

2008-08-16 Thread Jeroen van Wolffelaar
Hi,

Yesterday I left a black envelope for my eeepc on a table at the first
floor hacklab -- at the table in the far back, next to the pile of
linuxtag posters. Today I could not find it anymore.

Did anyone see it, or especially, know where it is now? That'd be
great. Please send me a mail or speak to me directly.

By the way, I leave at 2am tonight, so I hope I can recover it today.
Thanks!

This second BOF has taken place today, and IMO it was a very
productive meeting. Thanks to everybody for participating, and
especially to Tim Retout for taking notes again.

I'm attaching the only slightly edited notes to this mail; they are
also available as an attachment to the event in pentabarf.

I will prepare a condensed summary which is easier to read for people
who were not present and send it to a more "public" list soon.

Cheers,
gregor, looking forward to the future work of the "meta-team" :)

Whiew! Too bad I missed it doing house repairs :) Will wait for the

That would do it too, what was the URL? (sorry for the lazy request;
browsing sucks via gprs)
