[Crowbar] Getting 'Err http://us.archive.ubuntu.com precise' while starting admin

2014-04-12 Thread Raghu Katti
I have installed docker on virtualbox and also checked out latest
opencrowbar/core. I also do have connectivity
to us.archive.ubuntu.com but 'tools/docker-admin ubuntu ./production.sh
admin.smoke.test' fails with following
error message : Err http://us.archive.ubuntu.com precise InRelease

Any thoughts on how to resolve it ?

2014-04-13 Thread Raghu Katti
Rob,

No we hadnt used a passwordless sudo. Yea i believe you need the
docker-admin script to run with root level priviledges. Thanks for the link,
we will set it up.

May be that can be added that as a prerequiste in the installation
documentation .

Thanks,
Raghu

To check your SSL configuration, or troubleshoot errors, you can use the

[Crowbar] OpenStack and OpenCrowbar

2014-04-14 Thread Raghu Katti
I was trying to look around if there was any documentation to get
Openstack Havana controller node booted through opencrowbar. I was not
able to locate any examples in videos.

Wanted to know what was the latest on openstack workload.

Thanks,

Re: [Crowbar] OpenStack and OpenCrowbar

2014-04-16 Thread Raghu Katti
Rob,

Thanks for the update. We needed in support for following openstack
components in priority in opencrowbar : Nova, Neutron, Glance,
Cinder, Keystone. I was wondering if you had a work in progress branch that
you could point us and we could try out.

Thanks,
Raghu

Re: [Crowbar] having problem assessing download area.

2014-04-23 Thread Raghu Katti
Rob, Arkady we tried it and is working great appreciate it.

One point I wanted to mention incase it is beneficial to add to
documentation is when installing the crowbar admin node it alters the
exisiting network configuration hence we need to setup appropriate
additional interfaces in advance before running install script :

We did the following to file

/opt/dell/barclamps/network/chef/cookbooks/network/templates/default/interfaces.erb

where we added this line to end of the file :

  source /etc/network/interfaces.d/*.iface

and created a new file with contents : /etc/network/interfaces.d/eth1.iface

 auto eth1
 iface eth1 inet dhcp

Hope this helps.
