Stus-List no more classifieds?
Been a longtime member and lurker since 97 or so...as my kids get older I'm hoping to spend more time contributing. Checked in the last few months as a reference and noticed the Classifieds are gone? Just want to see what the current protocol is for sharing info about used equipment for sale. Re: Stus-List no more classifieds?
Sean I removed the Classified Ads from the Photo Album for lack of interest, software problems and huge costs related to upgrading. If you have something for sale, just send an email to the list detailing your items. Stus-List Wetted surface area, 37+
I'm preparing to paint the bottom of my 37+ for the first time (for me). The first issue is "How much paint will be required?". I'll be using Micron CSC and I'm hoping to get enough on that will last for two seasons. Re: Stus-List Wetted surface area, 37+
I always buy 2 gallons. Plenty of extra to double coat at the waterline and leading edges. You'll also need some under the jackstand pads. I didn't paint last year. Lasted fine. Re: Stus-List Wetted surface area, 37+
When I do Pegasus's bottom I use just under 2 gallons. 3 coats at waterline, rudder, leading edge of keel, and 2 coatseeverywhere else. This will last me 4-5 years here in the PNW. Oh and then only knock off the hard stuff. I leave the slime to sluff off during cruising. The best thing about Generac, is they are a major GENERATOR company. They stand behind the product. The Harborfreight one looks like a knock-off of the Generac. Shop around for this model and you may find it even cheaper. http://www.electricgeneratorsdirect.com/Gener.../p58409.html Bill Bina ___ Email address: CnC-List@cnc-list.com To change your list preferences, including unsubscribing -- go to the bottom of page at: http://cnc-list.com/mailman/listinfo/cnc-list_cnc-list.com
Stus-List Wanted - Traveler car and t-track
Bit of a long shot here: I’m looking for a Harken 2746 windward-sheeting traveler car or a Harken 2752 windward-sheeting adapter kit. I’m also looking for two long (8 to 10-ft) lengths of 1-inch T-track for genoa tracks (that would have to be a local find obviously). So if anyone has some parts gathering dust in their garage .
