Yes, please read all of the documentation on the web site. It explains most of your questions. Also, check out the man pages for clamscan, clamd and freshclam. There are explanations and examples. There are also copious examples of cron jobs in the clam documentation and on google. [Clamav-users] Donations?
Hey are the developers accepting donations? I think I might be able to sell some firewalls with clamscan on it and instead of paying an antivirus company I could swing a donation to ClamAV. Plus I am starting to use it more and would like to pitch in a little bit. It wouldn't be huge, but you guys could certainly be paid for the contant labor of keeping the definitions updated if nothing else...
