I already sent a mail about this problem some time ago... but no answer. I've stopped running clamav because of this problem cause I didn't had the time to dig into the problem. I've exactly the same problem as Bob. I'm using in combination with exim+exiscan. Exim is refusing connection few time after clamd gives the "Session x stopped due to timeout"... And I'm not using clamav-milter... If someone as any clues I would be happy... Thx. Laurent. > > Best regards, > Tomasz Kojm -- "Free software is a gift. I didn't have any crash since yesterday. This should maybe be inserted on a FAQ or so... Have a merry Christmas and happy new year! [Clamav-users] "Session x stopped due to timeout" with clamd 0.6x
Hi all, Since yesterday I run into the " Session x stopped due to timeout." problem. I'm using exim 4.22 + exiscan + clamav 0.60 (and today 0.65) stable versions. Searching on the archive I mainly saw that this problem occured with cvs version. The strange thing is that it was working perfectly for the last 4 month. Nothing was changed since that time. Any clue? -- Laurent

Yes clamd hand and exim didn't accept any connections when the max incoming connections is reached. > > Do you see something like: > > Sat Nov 15 00:16:19 2003 -> Database reload: some threads must be > stopped in the next iteration. No. only Session [1-2] stopped due to timeout, nothing more Cheers. Laurent. > > ? > > Best regards, > Tomasz Kojm -- "Free software is a gift.
