While I was waiting to get a new version of gdb, I saw the problem appearing
again.
I saved the emails and retried scanning, it stalled again...
Did a strace:

What is this a trace of? Could you send the full trace? This seek() on a
pipe is rather odd. I can't think how clam would do that, ATM.
Could you give a full inventory of your software and configuration
please.
MTA; software used to pass emails to clam; any patches you have applied
(to all, but primarily to clam). Versions of each.

I am running Debian woody and had clam-0.80 working fine. I tried installing SquidClamAV_Redirector which required libclamav. I downloaded libclamav1 from Debian, installed it and now I get this: /usr/bin/freshclam: error while loading shared libraries: libgmp.so.3: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory libgmp.so.3 is on my system, any help is greatly appreciated. -- Thomas J. The file libgmp.so.3 should be a symlink to the real library, and it may be that the real library is missing for some reason. hello I want to add clamv-milter with my sendmail when I try to add like this form the bash /etc/mail/sendmail.mc:INPUT_MAIL_FILTER(`clamav-milter',`S=local:/var/run/cl amav/clamav-milter.sock, F=T,T=S:4m;R:4m;E:10m')dnl I am getting the error like this -bash: syntax error near unexpected token ``clamav-milter',`S=local:/var/run/clamav/clamav-milter.sock,' how can I add this Input mail fiter to sendmail.mc when I try to add manualy by editing sendmail.mc I am getting error while restarting sendmail how can I add it correctly thanks ___ http://lists.clamav.net/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/clamav-users
