[clamav-users] clamav-20030625: Major bugfixes
Wed Jun 25 10:50:33 CEST 2003 - * libclamav: mbox: updated message.c, text.c (Nigel) Wed Jun 25 03:07:10 CEST 2003 - * freshclam: fixed a typo - missing 2 in "nodb" in (should be "nodb2") in one clause. That was causing a strange behaviour in some situations. Patch by Damien Curtain <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>. * freshclam: new option --user (-u) USER - run as USER instead of the default 'clamav' user. Patch by Damien Curtain. * freshclam: switch to a mirror when downloaded md5 check sum doesn't match the database (errno 54, man freshclam) * freshclam: mirrors.txt - added clamav.rulez.pl mirror managed by £ukasz Jaros³aw Mozer <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> * clamd, libclamav, clamscan: fixed a bug introduced in 0.60 - closedir(dd) was called even when dd was not correctly opened * libclamav: mbox - patch for a segfault with some nasty messages which break RFC1521 (Nigel). I have installed latest snapshot and assigned a guy to monitor it while I go to sleep ;-) Thanks for the quick fix. [clamav-users] clamd dropping out with no aparent reason
Running OpenBSD3.3, Postfix, amavisd-new-20030616, spamassassin, clamd. Everything seems to run great for awhile and until the maillog indicates "Can't connect to UNIX socket /var/amavisd/clamd:" and by then the dameon process is no longer running. Sometimes it runs for a couple days, sometimes a couple of hours. I have to shutdown amavisd, delete /var/amavisd/clamd, startup clamd again and then amavisd. Then it works for awhile, then I have to go through it again. Any suggestions on how to track this down would be appreciated.
