I have sent a suggestion to apply the patch in this Debian bug report, I hope it can be applied to older versions of mailutils. htps://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=940249 From the looks of it it might take a few more years before mailutils 3.12 becomes available in Debian stable... which is a bummer. Thankfully I did manage a way to sent out text/plain with an pdf/attachment with mutt until I can switch back to a mailutils. Kind regards, Jelle de Jong
