Re: glibc 2.28 breaks the current m4 release
Is there any update on fixing this? Arch Linux currently cannot rebuild m4. I've actually tried cloning from git master and running bootstrap. First it fails due to cloning with --depth and not being able to find the commit in gitmodules, then trying to use the latest master results in an error: configure.ac:57: installing 'build-aux/missing' tests/gnu/Makefile.am:55: error: required file 'm4/gnu/alloca.c' not found parallel-tests: installing 'build-aux/test-driver' autoreconf: automake failed with exit status: 1 Not really sure how to fix this properly :/ Paul, if you have a patch to fix this, could you post it so that downstream can use it while we wait for it to be merged to m4.git? -- Eli Schwartz
