[bdlug] install prob.

salam 

   when im trying 2 install vmware from .tar.gz file it requers some 
init directory which contains (rc0.d-- rc6.d)directories ... but i 
didn't found such dat directory. But i found some thing like rc.0d in  
rc.d .So i cant install da soft as it dont accept rc.od..  i use 
slackware 10.1 

   can any 1 help (im just a new user in linux world)

He better not -- I have no desire to unlearn the
English we were taught during our childhood. And
needless to say, I don't find this new-age-English (or

As for you, Mr tanvir anowar, since you are quite new
in Linux world, I'd recommend a little reading on its
evolution, especailly the evolution of it's
fore-runner -- UNIX. Once you do, you will find that
there are two trends -- BSD and SysV. Try to
understand their differences, that is sure to help.
