I have a lot better luck with dedicated scanners. My Fujitsu ScanSnap
IX1500 is 50 times better than any scanner I have ever used as part of a
printer. It is faster, produces files sizes about a third the size, and
swallows anything I throw at it like a $10 crack whore.

Previous Brother worked for a few years. The print head got all dried up
from lack of use, though.

Replaced with a Brother MFC-J5330DW - it does all the scanning/printing and
such but most importantly it is networked. I click a button on the scanner
and it sends it to an NFS/Samba folder.

I like the fact that I can load the sheet feeder, set it to scan, any

2019-10-11 Thread dave via AF

Little know fact about what I used to do before 2004...
I was a master tec with sharp office products LOL
Sharps were expensive in their own right but built to last.

The first encounter I had was with a copier that had tongs to remove a
paper jam lol

I think it was a model sf-400 0r 300 that was in 1996

Got see the technology move from analog lighting and mirrors to digital
reproduction and some of the

first color copiers/printers to hit the market.

does that but it will not let me also do a right handed touch pad. Not a big

My mom adored Judy Garland. I once compared Barbara Streisand to Judy
Garland and she about bit my head off.

I vaguely remember her appearances as Jack Parr's guest on TV and feeling
something was awkward and sad.

Also remember him having Oscar Levant as a recurring guest. Same feeling.
Funny, talented, awkward, sad.

On the touch pad/mouse thing:

Logitech mice at least used to have a special driver/software that allowed
you to independent of windows reassign any of the mice buttons to any
function. Not sure which mouse you are using but you might want to look
into that. I'm guessing that this is still a feature available in some
mice from some vendors.
