extension_feed_item report sending data only when an extension is defined at Account level and applied to Campaign and Ad Group level.

2022-09-01 Thread Qaiser Javed
Hi,

Hope you are doing well.

I am facing an issue while fetching data from *extension_feed_item* report,
please advice.

*Observation:*

It returns rows when an extension is defined at Account level and applied
to Campaign and Ad Group level.

But if an extension is only defined at Campaign or Ad Group level, it is
not returned. What could be the issue. Your response is really appreciated.

Thanks,

Get excluding categories

2022-12-15 Thread Qaiser Javed
Hi Friends,

Hope you are doing well.

I have a question please.

How can we get exclude site categories (like "Crime, Police and Emergency"
or "Death and Tragedy") from Google Ads API?

Thanks,

Placement targeting in VIdeo Ads

2023-04-17 Thread Qaiser Javed
Hi Members,

Hope you are doing good.

I have question please, I want to add *placement targeting* to show my
video ad on some *specific channels*, but I am confused with the following
note from Google Ads official page.

" *For video campaigns that drive conversions only*: To help you find more
conversion opportunities, you’ll no longer be able to add content targeting
to new and existing video conversion campaigns in the coming months. From
early 2023, all existing content targeting settings will be automatically
removed from video campaigns that drive conversions. To manually remove
content targeting from existing conversion campaigns, go to your ad group
settings."

My queries are following
1. Any one please confirm the date when it is going to obsolete?
2. This change of placement targeting is for some specific type of
campaigns or for every type of campaigns?

Please help!

Thanks

Need search queries with respect to different combinations?

2018-11-14 Thread Qaiser Javed
Hi Community!

I need search queries with different combinations like:

1. Search Queries with respect to GEO
2. Search Queries with respect to Age Group
3. Search Queries with respect to Gender
4. Search Queries with respect to In Market Segment
5. Search Queries with respect to Affinity

Is it possible if yes then which API may I use for this purpose?

Thanks & Regards,

2018-11-16 Thread Qaiser Javed
Hi Mike,

Thank you for your response and solution as well.

I test this filter "18to24" it is correct. I also test with others like
"25to34", "35to44", "45to54", "55to64", "Undetermined". These filters are
also working fine.

*But this filter "65 or more" is not working. Please test at your end.*

Thanks & Regards,

duplicate keywords in Ad Group deleteion problem

2019-01-21 Thread Qaiser Javed
Hello,

I have duplicate keywords in Ad Group 1.

ID Keyword MatchType Quality Score Max
CPC Conversion
35201456KW1 Exact 8
30
35201456KW1 Exact 3
22

To remove duplicate I used Quality Score * Max CPC = Keyword Score. Low
Keyword score record will delete. In this case keyword having Conversions =
2 will remove. But it should not remove because it has 2 conversions.

So, my question is how google handle duplicate keywords in GUI?
As per my knowledge google show only one keyword. So in this case which
record will be show by Google AdWords GUI?
What should be the solution in explained scenario?

Hey,

I have questions regarding Google AdWords Report API call performance.
Please answer if there is solution.

1. Can i get only summary row? For example I have to show total impressions

a row only, Why all keyword rows with specific match type returns?
2. Can I get count of keywords in account in single row?

Best practice to process Big Data?

2019-03-20 Thread Qaiser Javed
Hi,

Please suggest the quick way to process Google Ads Big Data.

Case Study:

Let's suppose there is an account having 1000 campaigns and 1 million
keywords.

I want to get account level insight that how many impressions are there for
keyword tail length like 1 word keyword, 2 word keyword up to 5 word
keyword. For example:

1 Word Keywords = x impressions
2 Words Keywords = x impressions
.
.
5+ Words Keywords = x impressions

For this type of analysis I have to get 1 million keywords in my local
database then process locally and make required result.

But this is very expensive call to get 1 million keywords.

What you suggest what is best practice?
OR
Can I process this huge dataset on Google Ads platform and get only
required row?

Regards,
Qaiser

Re: Best practice to process Big Data?

2019-03-21 Thread Qaiser Javed
Hello Sreelakshmi,

I am using AdWords API.

gzip compression data format is a good option I will try this.

How this is possible to apply Label on keywords as you suggest in some one
else campaign programmatically. To do this we still need to apply filter.

Actually the solution comes in my mind there should be an option to apply
regular expressions to filer data and get only total row (one row).

If we get bulk rows then we have to filter rows by sending keyword IDs in
where clause, there is also a limit of 1 keywords in where clause in
operator. Some metrics possible to total manually like impressions, clicks
etc. But %age metrics like Impression Share, EMIS etc not match correctly
with Google Ads GUI. So to match these values we have to get Total column
from Google Ads.

I hope can elaborate my problem well. Please suggest me.

Regards,
Qaiser

Is there any type of ad extension that may cause to raise cost of click?

2019-03-25 Thread Qaiser Javed
Hi,

Please confirm.

Is there any type of ad extension that may cause to raise cost of click?

Which ad extensions are auto and which are manual?

How we can check ad extensions are showing on desktop and device?

Thanks

Placeholer performance report impressions not matching with campaign performance report?

2019-04-29 Thread Qaiser Javed
Hi Members,

I am facing an issue regarding impressions total mismatch.

I am fetching data from following 3 reports

1. Placeholder Report
2. Placeholder feed Item Report
3. Campaign Performance Report

total impressions different in each report.

Please tell me what are possible reasons of this missmatch?

Thanks,

Re: Placeholer performance report impressions not matching with campaign performance report?

2019-04-30 Thread Qaiser Javed
Hi Bharani,

Thanks for your response.

Numbers are matching with UI.

But I am still confused. Why not impressions numbers match by campaign and
ad extensions on UI? If I am not wrong impressions should match by campaign
and ad extensions screens.

Thanks,
Qaiser

How handle less than 10% and greater than 90% Impression Share value when we calculate Total IS%?

2018-03-16 Thread Qaiser Javed
Hi Members!

I have a problem. I am getting data by using AdWords API report "Keyword
PErformance Report". Sample data is given below: *Cal_IS (Calculated IS )
total is 75.83% that is differ from Adwords UI, Adwords UI IS total = 73.39
difference is about 2.44%*.

I know the difference is because of two records at serial no 8 and 13
because in these two records impressions = 0 and IS% is "<10%". *Now how
AdWords handle "<10%" or in some cases ">90%" values. *

Any idea please share your knowledge. File is attached herewith.

AdWords data changes in previous dates?

2018-05-25 Thread Qaiser Javed

Hello!

I have a query let me explain my case first:

I generate a report on date *01-Apr-2018* for AdWords data for the month
period *from 01-Jan-2018 to 31-Jan-2018* (data get from AdWords Reports
API). At that time (01-Apr-2018) i got following numbers:

ImpressionsClicksSearch Impression Share Exact Match
Impression Share

 75920
63% 72%

OK? data was matched with AdWords UI. Now, the problematic area when i
generate the same report on *22-May-2018 *for the month period* from
01-Jan-2018 to 31-Jan-2018. *I got report with different numbers while the
date range is the same.

My question why numbers are change for same date range?

Is there any data updation by Google AdWords in back dates?

If there is data updation by Google AdWords in back dates then why they
need to do this?

Please give reference link if you have any.

Thanks & Regards,

Qaiser Javed

Re: How i can set Ad Schedule criterion and date range to get Traffic Estimate?

2018-09-19 Thread Qaiser Javed
Hi Sreelakshmi,

Thanks for you reply. I have check these objects and got mean values.

I got following values (Mean) from TrafficEstimatorService.

Estimated daily clicks: 3.261019
Estimated daily impressions: 101.0461
Click Through Rate: 0.0322725810110569
Estimated average CPC: 2
Estimated ad position: 1.78
Estimated daily cost: 9

I have questions:

1. Why these values not matching with AdWords UI numbers?
2. Can I get "Suggested Daily Budget" from this service?
3. If I can't get suggested daily budget then how I can calculate daily
budget with above numbers?
4. If I consider cost = daily budget it would be sensible?
5. Because date is not supported in this service, then if I consider 15
days then for 15 days can I calculate budget like 15 days budget = 15 *
Cost it would be sensible?

Thanks & Regards,
Qaiser Javed

Need to fetch summary row for huge data in Google Ads?

2019-05-17 Thread Qaiser Javed

Hi,

Please suggest the quick way to process Google Ads Big Data. Using Google
Ads API with gzip compression data format is implemented.

Case Study 1:

Case Study 2:

Actually the solution for case study 1 comes in my mind there should be an
option to apply regular expressions to filer data and get only total row
(one row).

Regards,

Qaiser

FROM keyword_view WHERE customer.id IN (##) AND
ad_group_criterion.status IN (ENABLED,PAUSED) AND segments.ad_network_type
IN (SEARCH,SEARCH_PARTNERS) AND ad_group_criterion.keyword.text NOT LIKE
'%+%' AND ad_group_criterion.keyword.match_type IN (BROAD) AND
segments.date >= '2019-05-09' AND segments.date <= '2019-06-05'

This functionality was running with old API but new API generating error.

Please suggest.

Re: Need clarification regarding Campaign_Criterion and Call_View.

2021-09-24 Thread Qaiser Javed
Let me rephrase my question for more clarification.

1. I get *"locations"* of a campaign using *"campaign_criterion view"*,
is there any other view that can return Ads account level locations? If yes
what’s the name of that Google Ads view that we can use to get Google Ads
account level locations using Google Ads API ?

2. I get *"received phone calls"* using Google Ads view *“call_view”*,
the same phone calls would be considered for a Google Ads account ?

If No, what’s the name of Google Ads view that I should use to get Google
Ads account level "received calls" using Google Ads API ?

Thanks & Regards

Thanks for your response. I got answers for my queries.

Just one question still arise for more clarification please provide detail.

Please provide details of field mapping between "shared_set_report" of

I have explored the following URL but can't find field mapping details of
"shared_set_report".

Thanks for your response.

Would like to clear one more thing, please.

If SkipReportSummary is not supported in the Google Ads API, how can we
aggregate data in Google Ads API? Do we have any aggregation functions in
the new Google Ads API that we may use in a GAQL to get aggregated data
against a resultant result set?

Thanks

KeywordPlanIdeaService limit issue in Google Ads API

2022-04-12 Thread Qaiser Javed

Hi Members,

We are using “KeywordPlanIdeaService” in our product to fetch search
volume, CPC etc. for keywords.

In AdWords API we were able to fetch this info for thousands of keywords.

But, now with Google Ads API, we are getting limit issue 1 request per
second (QPS), 60/minute. This limit is too small to use Ads API to build a
scalable product.

I need to know what Google’s future plan is so that we can plan our product
accordingly.

Please guide.

Thanks

We used Campaign Criteria Report to get information on following

Ad Schedule
Platform
Language
Location
Age
Gender

We assume than in new google ad API we can get similar info from

Ad Schedulead_schedule_view
Locationgeographic_view
Ageage_range_view
Gendergender_view

please confirm if this understanding is correct and also from where we can
get info about Platform & Language?

Which Google Ads API service is available to get responsive search ad combinations details?

2021-05-12 Thread Qaiser Javed
Hi Members,

Hope you are doing well.

I have a question please.

Which Google Ads API service is available to get responsive search ad
combinations details (programmatically).

I think "ad_group_ad_asset_view" can be used for this but as per
documentation its only provide details for AppAds.

Documentation providing following information.
" A link between an AdGroupAd and an Asset. Currently we only support
AdGroupAdAssetView for AppAds. "

Thanks & Regards,

2020-03-30 Thread Qaiser Javed
Dear Members,

Hope you are doing fine.

I am facing an issue while fetching data from Geo_Performance_Report. In
conversion column getting -ve values and in double quotes as well.

Image is attached herewith.

Thanks & Regards,
Qaiser Javed
