New token for existing Console Application

2024-02-14 Thread Olayinka Popoola
This is an existing console application that used Adwords to generate its
refresh token. Since Adword is deprecated,

Below is my static function to generate new refresh token:
public async static Task UserAuth()
 {
 string id = "x.apps.googleusercontent.com";
 string secret = "";
 ClientSecrets secrets = new ClientSecrets()
 {
 ClientId = id,
 ClientSecret = secret
 };
 string[] scopes = { "https://www.googleapis.com/auth/adwords"; };

 var flow = new GoogleAuthorizationCodeFlow(new
GoogleAuthorizationCodeFlow.Initializer
 {
 ClientSecrets = secrets,
 Scopes = scopes,
 DataStore = new FileDataStore("GoogleAdsTokenStore")
 });

 var authCodeUri =
flow.CreateAuthorizationCodeRequest("urn:ietf:wg:oauth:2.0:oob").Build();
 Console.WriteLine("Authorize the application by visiting the
following URL:");
 Console.WriteLine(authCodeUri.AbsoluteUri);
 Console.WriteLine("Enter the authorization code:");

 // Read the authorization code from the console
 string code = Console.ReadLine();

 // Exchange the authorization code for tokens
 var token = await flow.ExchangeCodeForTokenAsync("user", code,
"urn:ietf:wg:oauth:2.0:oob", CancellationToken.None);

 // Output the token information
 Console.WriteLine("Access token: " + token.AccessToken);
 Console.WriteLine("Refresh token: " + token.RefreshToken);
 Console.WriteLine("Token expires at: " + token.ExpiresInSeconds);
 //}

 }

The above function return a URL string which is blocked.

Please remember, it is a console application.

Not allowed to add image extension

2024-02-14 Thread Peter Baptist
I have uploaded the image asset using the following Java code:

And it is working fine, but I do not receive permission when I try do add
the image asset obtained early as a image extension using this code:

I have done many operations using basic and advanced example codes and they
work like a charm. I am using a test account.

2024-02-14 Thread Peter Baptist
Thanks for your attention, but I have solved this with this code:

private void linkSitelinksToAdGroup(GoogleAdsClient googleAdsClient,
List sitelinkAssetResourceNames, AddSitelinkUsingAssetsParams
params) {
// Creates AdGroupAssets representing the association between
sitelinks and ad groups.
List adGroupAssetOperations =
sitelinkAssetResourceNames.stream().map(resName -> AdGroupAsset.newBuilder()
.setAsset(resName)

.setAdGroup(ResourceNames.adGroup(params.customerId, params.adGroupId))
.setFieldType(AssetFieldType.SITELINK)
.build())
// Creates an AdGroupAssetOperation to create the
AdGroupAsset.
.map(a ->
AdGroupAssetOperation.newBuilder().setCreate(a).build())
.collect(Collectors.toList());
// Creates the service client.
try (AdGroupAssetServiceClient client =
googleAdsClient.getLatestVersion().createAdGroupAssetServiceClient()) {
// Sends the mutate request.
MutateAdGroupAssetsResponse response =
client.mutateAdGroupAssets(String.valueOf(params.customerId),
adGroupAssetOperations);
// Prints some information about the result.
for (MutateAdGroupAssetResult result :
response.getResultsList()) {
System.out.printf("Linked sitelink to ad group with
resource name '%s'.%n", result.getResourceName());
}
}
}

it's an issue with the Google Ad Words API...not with how we're making the

Lead Form usage in Display & Video 360 API

2024-02-14 Thread Anna Lysak
Hi Team,

We successfully use Google Ads Campaigns with Lead Forms. We need to create
campaigns using Display & Video API, from the documentation it's possible
to attach lead form to Line Item using feature
dashboard:
https://support.google.com/displayvideo/answer/10295557?hl=en#zippy=%2Ccreate-a-lead-form-in-a-new-line-item

. But I don't see anywhere in DV360 documentation, how to create lead form
using these DV360 API and how to attach it to campaign/Line Item.

Or may be lead form should be created via Google Ads API and it's resource
name should be passed in creative asset in DV360 API
https://developers.google.com/display-video/api/reference/rest/v3/advertisers.creatives#assetassociation?

Should it be asset of type HTML 5?

Can you please help me with this information, or if it's not a question to
you, which team can help me? I already
checked https://support.google.com/displayvideo/contact/nghelp_contact_form
but we don't have this feature enabled to our google account (I wrote to
DV360 sales team already about this, but didn't receive a reply yet), and
now I do investigate if we can create and attach lead form using
Dispay&Video 360 API and how to do this.
Thanks in advance,
Anna.

2024-02-14 Thread Maxime Heurtevent
Hello,

I applied for basic access a few weeks ago and have since reached out to
support, but I haven't received a response yet. Could you please review my

No reply from Google on our developer token status (Google Ads API)

2024-02-14 Thread LC Grow
Hi. A little help here. A month ago we applied to the Developer API token.
We are currently as "Test account" and asked to be moved to "basic" level.
We have received no reply from Google on our application status, not even a
confirmation email that they received it. We reached out to the Google Ads
API Compliance team a couple of days later using this form
https://support.google.com/adspolicy/contact/contact_ads_api and we still
haven't heard from them either.

There are no other contact forms or phone numbers to reach to. When I tried
to reach out again I was only given an alternative to "Ask the community".
I did and someone suggested I asked here.

Please someone guide me on how to get a reply. We have been stuck with our
development for a month and have no idea for how much more.

Our MCC ID is 209-510-1290

Thanks!!!

VPN Click on my PPC

2024-02-14 Thread K2BaseCamp & GondogoroLa Trekking
Dear Support team,

I am really tired of wasting too much money to ppc fraud. I have spent
almost 70,000 PKR without any conversion. Total of my daily budget is
drained in half an hour and I am really tired of this now, I am running
campaign is multiple locations across the globe so ip exclusion was not
something helpful. is there any option to complete block vpn traffic to the
ads?

Thanks

Re: audience signal

2024-02-14 Thread Hwansang Cho
Hi,

Thank you for answer.

They said they all had the same UI, but if you look at the two images we
provided, the UI is different.

One needs to be searched, and the other needs to add a segment.
Can you tell me what kind of case this is?

Re: user_interest query returns "internal error occurred" response

2024-02-14 Thread 'Google Ads API Forum Advisor' via Google Ads API and AdWords API Forum
Hi,

Thank you for reaching out to the Google Ads API support team.

After reviewing your concern, I understand that you are encountering the
"INTERNAL_ERROR" while trying to fetch data using the queries via the Google
Ads API searchStream method.

Kindly note that the INTERNAL_ERROR occurs when something unexpected happened
while processing the request. The common cause could be that the API isn't
functioning correctly due to a bug. However, this is transient in nature and
the issue may be resolved by retrying the request after a short pause. You may
retry any requests that failed with this error, using an exponential backoff
schedule for the retries. Here is a code example demonstrating how to implement
an exponential back off strategy.

Also, note that I am able to replicate this issue at my side. So, kindly allow
me to check this with the rest of our team and one of our colleagues will reach
out to you once we have an update. Meanwhile, your patience is highly
appreciated.
This message is in relation to case "ref:!00D1U01174p.!5004Q02rz6B3:ref"

Thanks,

Google Ads API Team
