Standard Access to the Google Ads API

2024-02-12 Thread Berkay Yavuz

Dear Google Ads API Support Team,

I hope this email finds you well. My name is Berkay, representing the
account associated with the ID 547-830-8911. I am writing to inquire about
the status of our application for Standard Access to the Google Ads API.

We submitted our application some time ago and have been eagerly awaiting a
response. The integration of the Google Ads API is crucial for our ongoing
projects, and we are keen to progress with its implementation.

Could you please provide an update on the current status of our
application? Additionally, if there are any further requirements or
information needed from our end to facilitate the process, kindly let us
know.

We appreciate your assistance and look forward to a prompt and positive
response.

Thank you for your time and support.

Best regards,

Berkay Yavuz

Re: device targeting via google ads api

2024-02-12 Thread Ferenc Sijat

Currently using the latest API version for PHP (V15). We are trying to
specify a campaign’s ‘Devices’ setting, adding it as a ‘Campaign Criterion’
(ref.
https://developers.google.com/google-ads/api/reference/rpc/v15/CampaignCriterion).The

operation is inside a list of operations as it follows:

// Adapted from extract code for testing values based on class Device

// Google\Ads\GoogleAds\V15\Enums\DeviceEnum\Device.php

$operations = [];

$devices = ['MOBILE', 'TABLET'];

foreach ($devices as $device) {

$operations[] = new MutateOperation([

'campaign_criterion_operation' => new CampaignCriterionOperation([

'create' => new CampaignCriterion([

'campaign' => ResourceNames::forCampaign($customer_id, $campaign_temp_id),

'type' => CriterionType::DEVICE,

'negative' => false,

'status' => CampaignCriterionStatus::value('ENABLED'),

//'bid_modifier' => 0.5,

'device' => new DeviceInfo([

'type' => Device::value($device)

])

])

])

]);

}

$service_client = $ads_client->getGoogleAdsServiceClient();

$response = $service_client->mutate($customer_id, $operations);

The actions for those ‘Devices’ operations run normally, without showing
any error, it even returns a resource name. The thing here is that, the
change doesn’t seems to be shown as expected on the Google UI.

*Current behavior*
[image: image_2024_02_12T18_16_38_818Z.png]
*Expected behavior based on selected options*
[image: image_2024_02_12T18_16_55_009Z.png]

The available options are set based on ‘DeviceEnum\Device.php’ (ref.
https://github.com/googleads/google-ads-php/blob/main/src/Google/Ads/GoogleAds/V15/Enums/DeviceEnum/Device.php).

We also tried to contact the Google Ads API support team 2 weeks ago with
no luck.

As such, we made a post on this forum.

Best,

Basic Access request limit - checking daily status

2024-02-12 Thread Steve Begin
Hello,

While set up on Basic Access (per this
 link) is
there a way to track how many operations and requests have been executed
for our daily period, and when that daily period resets (other thank
keeping count on our side which our code is being configured to do)? Also,
may you please confirm that it is indeed impossible to exceed the limit
(and so this already prevents any potential non-compliance fines
)?

I do see that the response back of too many requests after exceeding 15000
tells us how many seconds until we may to try again. However, if possible,
it would be good to be able to check that proactively *before* making a
request (especially in the event we can thereby learn our count may not be
correct). It would also be good to know better how the time of reset works.
One day it was about 1pm our time, and another day it was about 5:30pm; I
am not sure why it differs.

Thank you for your help and guidance.

Basic API Access Token - awaiting response

2024-02-12 Thread Philippa Ratjens
Hello support team,

We have applied for Google Ads API access on 2nd February and followed up
via the contact form on 8th February, both with no response. Our account
manager has also said they do not have any path for escalation.

   - Google Ads Manager Account (MCC) ID: 240-552-3698
   - Access level: Basic
   - Cases ID: None provided

This is impacting our business operations and ability to move forward with
an important project. Is there any way we can expedite access, as this is
well beyond the estimated 3 days turnaround suggested at the time of
application?

Many thanks,
Philippa

Basic API Access Token - 20 days no response

2024-02-12 Thread Joe Hall
Hi Support Team,

I applied for Google Ads API access back in Jan 24th and Feb 3rd and 6th.
I've received no email response to any of the requests. My Google rep
couldn't provide any guidance. Can you please help escalate the case as
this is a critical need for our product/client services.

   - Google Ads Manager Account (MCC) ID: 715-138-8450
   - Access level: Basic
   - Cases ID: None provided

Thank you,
Joe

Basic API Access Token

2024-02-12 Thread Tableau Admin
Hello,

Like many on this forum I am also waiting to hear back from the API
Compliance team regarding our Basic API Token. I am hoping you can escalate
this as we have been waiting over 2 months at this point.

   - MCC ID: 499-029-0839
   - Access level: Basic
   - Case ID: 7-116135377

I believe this is the Case ID. I was able to retrieve it from the Help chat
but I never received any email confirmation when I first applied.

Thank you

RE: how many locations per campaign are allowed in google ads?

2024-02-12 Thread 'Google Ads API Forum Advisor' via Google Ads API and AdWords API Forum
Hi,

Thank you for contacting the Google Ads API support team.

By reviewing your concern, I understand that you are encountering a
'MUTATE_ERROR_ENTITY_COUNT_EXCEEDS_LIMIT' error. Could you please confirm
whether you are getting the error while using the Google Ads API or Google Ads
Editor? If the error is from the Google Ads API, kindly provide us with the
complete API logs (request and response with request-id and request header)
generated at your end.

If you are using a client library and haven't enabled the logging yet, I would
request you to enable logging for the specific client library that you are
using. You can refer to the guides Java, .Net, PHP, Python, Ruby or Perl to
enable logging at your end. For REST interface requests, you can enable logging
via the curl command by using the -i flag.

This message is in relation to case "ref:!00D1U01174p.!5004Q02rz3E1:ref"

Thanks,

Google Ads API Team

I kindly request you to check the status of my request and let me know when
I can expect to receive the basic API access. This is important for me as I
need to use the API for my business needs.

I appreciate your prompt response and assistance on this matter.

Thank you!

Audience Signal

2024-02-12 Thread Hwansang Cho
Hi, Google Ads Team.

We are trying to apply Audience signal to Asset Group ads.

Inquiry 1.
When search for 'All visitors (AdWords)' in Your data, there are cases
where it is not searched. (see image)

CASE1. searched data
 - UI
[image: signal.PNG]
 - API
curl --request POST \

'https://googleads.googleapis.com/v15/customers/5490968049/googleAds:search?key=[YOUR_API_KEY]'

\
  --header 'developer-token: **' \
  --header 'login-customer-id: 4434375972' \
  --header 'Authorization: Bearer [YOUR_ACCESS_TOKEN]' \
  --header 'Accept: application/json' \
  --header 'Content-Type: application/json' \
  --data '{"query":"SELECT user_list.name, user_list.id,
user_list.resource_name FROM user_list"}' \
  --compressed

{
  "results": [
...
{
  "userList": {
"resourceName": "customers/5490968049/userLists/8564889023",
"id": "8564889023",
"name": "All visitors (AdWords) (system-defined)"
  }
},
{
  "userList": {
"resourceName": "customers/5490968049/userLists/8565325821",
"id": "8565325821",
"name": "All visitors (AdWords)"
  }
}
  ],
  "fieldMask": "userList.name,userList.id,userList.resourceName"
}

CASE2. no data
- UI
[image: image (1).png]
- API (no results)
{
  "fieldMask": "userList.name,userList.id,userList.resourceName"
}

Inquiry 2.
Is there a standard for generating default values such as 'All visitors
(AdWords)'?

Thank you.

RE: labelservice | createlabels

2024-02-12 Thread 'Google Ads API Forum Advisor' via Google Ads API and AdWords API Forum
Hi,

Thank you for contacting the Google Ads API support team.

By reviewing your concern, I understand that you are encountering Internal
error and Permission denied errors. Could you please confirm whether you are
seeing these errors while using Google Ads API? If yes, kindly note Internal
Error occurs when something unexpected happens while processing the request.
You can refer to the documentation, to know how to handle the Internal Error.
When you retry requests, use an exponential backoff policy. For example, if you
first pause 5 seconds before the first retry, you could pause 10 seconds after
the second and 20 seconds after the third retry. Exponential backoff helps
ensure you are not calling the API too many times.

Permission denied error means the user doesn't have permission to access the
customer. According to the documentation, if you're accessing the customer
please specify the login-customer-id as the manager account ID without hyphens
(-). Client libraries have built in support for this.

If the issue still persists, could you please provide us with the complete API
logs (request and response with request-id and request header) generated at
your end to assist you further.

You can send the details via Reply privately to the author option, or direct
private reply to this email.

Thanks,
