2022-08-10 Thread 'Google Ads API Forum Advisor' via Google Ads API and AdWords API Forum
Hi Mina,

Thank you for the reply. Allow me to assist you here.

As of now, getting the Usage status is not available with Google Ads API,
However, I’ve raised a feature request for this to my team. With this, I would
suggest keeping an eye on this blog as we will post any relevant updates when
they become supported.

Let us know if you have any further questions.

create the campaign with the placement list via API, is it correct?

Re: How to remove BatchJobOperation

My total batch jobs are:

  (0) UNSPECIFIED 0
  (1) UNKNOWN 0
  (2) PENDING 0
  (3) RUNNING 0

Sadly I am still running into the same issue. I've already waited 24hours
because I've supposed google might take a while to update its limits!?

What should I do? I need to publish ads... Google is losing money

RE: RESOURCE_EXHAUSTED error doesn't make sense

2022-08-10 Thread 'Google Ads API Forum Advisor' via Google Ads API and AdWords API Forum
Hi Dmitri,

Since it's telling you top retry in a minute and a half I can guess you may be
sending in burst mode and would suggest you send one update request which can
handle 5,000 mutates instead of 10 update requests.

For us to investigate, could you send us a 'DEBUG' log level request and
response log of raw API communications that got you this error?

The request and response appears similar to the JSON Mappings in our REST
documentation with additional headers and information such as request Id. Here
are logging instructions for our Java, .NET, PHP, Python, Ruby and Perl Ads API
Client Libraries.

If you are using our REST interface then the full multi line curl command line
is a request log and adding curl command line option '-i' will also generate a
response log.

Hi Dom,

Can you do a remove operation on your "DONE" batch jobs? If the above doesn't
help, could you send us a 'DEBUG' log level request and response log of raw API
communications showing the error?

The request and response appears similar to the JSON Mappings in our REST

If you are using our REST interface then the full multi line curl command line

Managing developer token with manager account

2022-08-10 Thread Florian Baptiste

Hello,

I work for an ad optimisation platform and we need to have our clients'
google ads account linked to our own account, in order to help them grow
their business.

We are about to reach the number of Google ads account that we have linked
to our Google Ads account (18 out of 20) and we saw that the best way to
add more accounts is to use a manager accounts and build a sort of tree of
linked accounts.

We do not want to change our current account so we created a manager
account on top of it. Based on the documentation, we saw that we would need
to:

   1. Link our existing account to the new manager account.
   2. Transfer our developer api token from our current account to the new
   manager account.

We wanted to confirm with you that this was the right approach and were
also wondering:

   1. Will the developer token work for all the connected manager accounts?
   2. Is this indeed the best approach to resolve this issue?

Many thanks,

Re: RESOURCE_EXHAUSTED error doesn't make sense

2022-08-10 Thread Dmitri Martin
Thank you for your reply.

The 10 update requests are followed by a 5 second wait but they are not the
problem anyway. As the image I included in my support request shows, the
failure happens at the beginning of the automation with the single get
request.

I don't have direct access to the raw logs but have emailed Make support
requesting them.

Meanwhile, can you check your own logs for the get request you should have
received this morning at 7:33:01 AM? I don't think you find an error with
the request you received since it's worked before and I haven't modified it.

RE: Managing developer token with manager account

2022-08-10 Thread 'Google Ads API Forum Advisor' via Google Ads API and AdWords API Forum
Hi Florian,

Thank you for reaching out to Google Ads API support. Getting your client s to
link to your manager account seems correct, but for support for such decisions
I suggest you reach out to our product support team for further assistance.

Regarding the need to move a developer token, note that any developer token can
be used to access any ads account in the system via API no matter where that
developer token's MCC account is. If for consolidation purposes it makes sense
for your developer token to be moved, then you may reach out to the Compliance
Team via this contact form for assistance.

Here' our Account Management guide which has instructions on Linking to Manager
Accounts.

Feel free to get back to us.

Regards,

Aryeh

RE: USER_PERMISSION_DENIED under child account

2022-08-10 Thread 'Google Ads API Forum Advisor' via Google Ads API and AdWords API Forum
Hi Pedro,

Thanks for reaching out to the Google Ads API Forum.

The USER_PERMISSION_DENIED error usually indicates that the user / email
address you used to generate your OAuth2 credentials does not have access to
the customer ID you specified in your request. When a manager account that is
higher in the account hierarchy. For example, let's say you have Manager
Account M1, Manager Account M2, Client Account C1, and Client Account C2. The
tree could look like this.

M1

/ \

M2 C1

|

C2

In this case, M1 would be the highest manager account, and you could use a
refresh token from this account to make requests to M2, C1, and C2.

You may double check if the user / email address you used to generate your
OAuth2 credentials indeed has access to the specified "login-customer-id" as
MCC / manager account.

That said, you will need to ensure that the user / email address you used to
generate the credentials indeed has access to the account in your request. If
the user / email address has access or is associated to the MCC / manager
account, you will need to specify the said MCC / manager account's ID as the
value of the login-customer-id field.

Also, you may check the MCC ID that used as "login-customer-id" in your request
on Ads UI , and your email address used to generate OAuth credentials is listed
under the Users or Users In Manager Accounts tabs in the Access and Security
page, which lists all users that have permission to make changes to the Ads
account and its children.

Thanks,

Yasar

Hi Abhishek,

Thank you for reaching out to the Google Ads API team. Please note that I

"*Hello,*

*Total clicks as per Google ADS

*But as per above query Total clicks is 1951 (PFA sheet).*

*When the query was done for Adwords API, the total matches with Google Ads

Moving forward to your concern, so our team can better check and
investigate this issue, could you provide the Google Ads API complete
request

logs with request ID

and request header

 and
the AWQL that you used in AdWords API? You may then send the requested
information directly to our googleadsa...@google.com

API failing in the mornings

2022-08-10 Thread Watauga Group

Hello,

We currently have an API that runs in the morning. It has recently randomly
started failing in the mornings. The ad dimension endpoint seems to be the
point that it stalls (it doesn't raise an error, the process just freezes
and doesn't progress).

Troubleshooting it is difficult because it doesn't fail every day, and when
it does it is only in the mornings. 06:00 UTC - Fails, 08:45 UTC
(Auto-Retry) - Fails, 12:00 UTC succeeds.

Example Query and Code (Python):

SELECT
customer.id,
customer.descriptive_name,
campaign.id,
campaign.name,
ad_group.id,
ad_group.name,
ad_group_ad.ad.name,
ad_group_ad.ad.id,
ad_group_ad.ad.type,
ad_group_ad.status,
campaign.start_date,
campaign.end_date,

ad_group_ad.ad.expanded_text_ad.description,
ad_group_ad.ad.text_ad.description1,
ad_group_ad.ad.text_ad.description2,
ad_group_ad.ad.text_ad.headline,
ad_group_ad.ad.expanded_text_ad.headline_part1,
ad_group_ad.ad.expanded_text_ad.headline_part2,
ad_group_ad.ad.expanded_text_ad.headline_part3,
