but nothing is being logged.

Maria here, I work together with Johan. 

We want to get the asset_group.name in the same report as some common 
metrics. Here is an example query we are trying to use:
*SELECT campaign.name, campaign.id, asset_group.name, metrics.impressions, 
metrics.clicks, metrics.cost_micros, segments.date FROM 
asset_group_product_group_view WHERE segments.date BETWEEN '2021-01-01' AND 
'2022-01-01'*

It's valid, we tried it in your Query Validator. The problem is that we 
don't get any data back at all even though we get data when just querying 
the asset_group resource like this: 
*SELECT asset_group.name FROM asset_group*
>From this query we get some Asset group names.

Are there any sort of filtering in the background when requesting the 
asset_group_product_group_view resource? We have tried several older date 
spans in the first query but we never get any data. Are we doing something 
wrong in the first query or do you have any other suggestion for *how to 
get the asset_group.name in the same report as campaign fields and some 
common metrics*?

It appears that your extensions are not migrated yet to asset-based extensions 
and this is the possible reason why you can't get any data using the asset 
related reports. With this, you could try to follow this guide to migrate your 
extensions to asset-based extension, then you can try the report again.

query as attached in previous mail i sent. compare with Adwords API there 
have huge data volume gap. data from Google Ads API missing lot of data,

Yes, the link is currently canceled. We cancel all pending links if the 
linking is not successful to avoid reaching the limit 
.
 
Our flow works like this:

   1. We create a pending link.
   2. Then we fetch the pending link to get the manager link ID.
   3. We try to accept the pending link.
   4. If accepting the pending link fails, we set the link status to 
   CANCELED.
   
I have sent an example with full logs of all requests, I hope it helps with 
the investigation.

Thanks for reporting that these extensions are not asset-based. 
Unfortunately I cannot change this account, I only have to report on it. 
Actually I have hundreds of accounts, and I am supposed to report on all of 
these too.

So it appears I have to write multiple sets of code, for asset-based 
extensions and feed-based extensions. Would you agree?

How does one find out that extensions of an account are feed-based or 
asset-based?

How to Upload millions of customer data without getting into exceptions?

Hi

We have a requirement to upload more than 100 million customers to the 
audience/segment. Each customer can have up to 10 PII fields (3 Phone 
numbers, 3 Emails, 3 Device Ids, addresses). We are trying to use 
asynchronous way via AddOfflineUserDataJobOperationsRequest API for this 
purpose.

it is mentioned that we can submit up to 1 Lakh user identifier in one API 
call. That means in one API call I will be able to upload only 10K 
customers because each customer is having 10 user identifiers. So to upload 
100 million customers, I need to make 10K API calls and then poll for the 
status of 10K API calls. Polling for 10K API calls is overhead here.

But as these asynchronous API calls are trying to upload customers to the 
same audience, it's highly likely that I will get into the 
CONCURRENT_MODIFICATION exception.
Therefore could you please suggest a better way to upload more than 100 
million customer data without getting into such errors and avoiding 
overhead?

Thanks for getting back. For us to investigate, we will need a full log of 
request and response logs with request ID and request header generated on your 
end of API communications of the report pull.
The request and response appears similar to the JSON Mappings in our REST 
documentation. Our client libraries have loggers with logging instructions, to 
see these instructions you can click on the client library you use in the 
sidebar of our client library guide and click on "Logging". Setting the logger 
to 'DEBUG' will get the desired log.

Please send the requested details via the Reply privately to the author option. 
If this option is not available, you may send the details directly to our 
googleadsa...@google.com alias instead.

Hi Hao,

We do not have guidance on combining reports and there are breaking changes 
from AdWords to the new API that affect the availability of the exact report 
style you are used to. The Ads API is built to mirror the new UI as much as 
possible. To assist you we will need a concrete example.

Could you provide us privately with logs of request and response to the API's 
with request ID of the reports under consideration, combined with a full screen 
screenshot of a UI report screen you are attempting to replicate so that we can 
see the numbers that you are seeing and attempt to assist you?

In the Ads API, the request and response appears similar to the JSON Mappings 
in our REST documentation. Our client libraries have loggers with logging 
instructions, to see these instructions you can click on the client library you 
use in the sidebar of our client library guide and click on "Logging".

In the AdWords API , then a request looks like the 3rd section in request and a 
response looks similar to response. Logging instructions are in the read.me on

The requested log can be generated when the log level is set to 'DEBUG'.

Your first report appears to be a structure report and we do recommend using 
ad_group_criterion and campaign_criterion for structure reports.

With regards to your concern, the uploading of customers to lists is with 
customers.offlineUserDataJobs, you will create, add operations and then run it 
and poll(get) for results. The end points are all in the documentation. 
"/v9/customers/{customerId}/userLists:mutate" is used for creation and 
modification of the list itself. You may refer to this REST cookbook to make 
call.

For your concern about adding customers TO THE LIST via SFTP, we are not 
supporting. I would suggest to you please reach out to the your SFTP support.

To generate the refresh token without using client library, please see the 
below step:

First, create a new refresh token by putting this in the browser. Make sure to 
replace the  with your client ID from 
the Cloud console. There is an extra scope here.

Now, we want to check the data on the access token to make sure everything on 
the access token is working as expected. Put this in your browser with the 
access token inserted that you got back.

Hi Hao,

Checking the UI, I see that there are ~100,000 keywords in the campaign, but 
just under 2,000 received an impression in the given date range. The Ads API 
excludes zero impressions by default when a report is segmented. This could 
explain why you are seeing fewer results in the Ads API report.

Please ensure that you are excluding zero impressions in both APIs. If this is 
not the source of the issue, please provide us with the results from the 
reports, including the complete report definition.
