linking process between the Google Adwords API and the Google Ads

2022-01-23 Thread 'Moran Monheit' via Google Ads API and AdWords API Forum
Hi all,

Was the linking process changed between the Google Adwords API and the
Google Ads API? When using the same credentials where I was able to access
and pull reports from all accounts, I can now only pull from the manager
account. Even CustomerService.ListAccessibleCustomers gives me only the
manager id.

Thanks,
Moran

Encountering errors trying to create self refresh token

2022-01-23 Thread Doron Nazaretsky
Hi,

As described in a previous post
, I'm
trying to walk through your guide

 and
failing on step 3

.
I'm running the example script "authenticate_in_web_application.py" while
specifying the "client_secrets_path" and keep getting this error
"AttributeError: 'NoneType' object has no attribute 'group'".
Looks like the code expects some query parameters which the example does
not include in it's GET request.

I tried all the steps in the guide both on Windows 10 and WSL 2 (Ubuntu),
even tried to run it in a isolated docker container based on python3.6 but
failed due to network problems between the container and the host.

I would appreciate your help on this.

Re: Google ads reports.

2022-01-23 Thread 'Google Ads API Forum Advisor' via Google Ads API and AdWords API Forum
Hi Sai,

You may refer to this section of our segmentation guide, for more information
on reporting behavior when using segments. That said, the metrics that are not
included in the report when the segments.geo_target_region is null indicates
that those may not be associated to a geo target region and could belong a
different segment field.

Also, as described in the (When adding some segments, the metrics in the
summary row may decrease) section when you segment a report, records relevant
to the segment field will be included while those that are not associated to
the said segment field would be excluded.

Re: update customer list in audience manager

2022-01-23 Thread 'Google Ads API Forum Advisor' via Google Ads API and AdWords API Forum
Hi,

Thank you for the reply. I am also a member of the Google Ads API team and let
me provide support to your concern.

For your scenario, it will take several days for 100,000 users to be uploaded
completely to your user list since your operational limit per day is 15,000
only. With this, as suggested by my colleague, you may follow this instruction
to upgrade to standard access to have unlimited number of operations per day as
mentioned here.

Let me know if you have further questions.

RE: Activation of Google ads API for the project which is currently using Adwords API

2022-01-23 Thread 'Google Ads API Forum Advisor' via Google Ads API and AdWords API Forum
Hi,

Thank you for reaching out to our team and for the included details.

Regarding the error, the Google Ads API may not have been enabled yet. You may
resolve this by enabling the said API in your Cloud Project, and you may refer
to this guide as to how.

After enabling, there should be no other implications (for the AdWords API)
except that the error should no longer be occurring. As for the other two items
:

Do we create test projects using the same developer token and use that Oauth
credential for our dev setup ?

Your current OAuth2 credentials that you have used with your current developer
token can be used for your dev or production setup and API calls.

Do we require to create both a new developer token and a test project for our
testing purpose

You can use your existing developer token and then create a test account and a
separate set of Cloud Project and OAuth2 credentials, using the user / email
address associated to the test account, if you wish to first test out the API's
services and features.

Let me know if this helps.

Thank you for raising your concern to my team. Allow me to provide support here.

It seems that your configuration with PHP client library is not configured

Since your issue is PHP related,I would like to suggest reaching out to the

RE: Avoiding CUSTOMER_NOT_ENABLED error

2022-01-23 Thread 'Google Ads API Forum Advisor' via Google Ads API and AdWords API Forum
Hi Oksana,

Thank you for reaching out and for providing these details.

However, in order for our team to investigate further the cause of the
CUSTOMER_NOT_ENABLED error, could you also provide the complete request and
response logs, with the request-id?

If you haven't yet, logging can be enabled by referring to this PHP logging
guide. You may then send the requested information via the Reply privately to
author option, and if this option is not available, you may send the details
directly to our googleadsapi-supp...@google.com alias instead.

In addition, could you also confirm if the account in your API request is
cancelled or inactive? If yes, you will need to reactivate them first before
you may manage its details via the API.

Re: How to get all input keywords as an output, using Google Ads API?

2022-01-23 Thread 'Google Ads API Forum Advisor' via Google Ads API and AdWords API Forum
Hi Evgeniy,

Thank you for providing more details to your concern.

To check your concern, would you be able to provide instead the complete SOAP
request and response logs generated on your end instead where we can see the
value below?

some keywords with search volume > 0,
some keywords with search volume = 0,
and some keywords are missing in the output file.

Also, could you clarify if the below results can be retrieved in the UI? If
yes, please provide a sample screenshot where we can see it.
some keywords with search volume > 0,
some keywords with search volume = 0,
some keywords with search volume as something like "-1", or "no data" or
similar.

Furthermore, provide also a sample use case why you need to get this kind of
data so that we can raise a feature request if this is not supported. However,
you may note that this feature will be added to Google Ads API. With this, we
strongly recommend that you migrate to the Google Ads API as soon as possible.
Please note that the AdWords API is also deprecated and will be sunset on April
27, 2022.

You can provide the requested details via Reply privately to author option. If
this option is not available, you may send the details directly to our
googleadsapi-supp...@google.com alias instead.

Re: UserList, Removing all UserData from a UserList

2022-01-23 Thread 'Google Ads API Forum Advisor' via Google Ads API and AdWords API Forum
Hi Matan,

Thank you for providing these additional details.

However, could you confirm if in your system you are also performing other
OfflineUserDataJobService requests that are also making changes to the same
userlist resource? I asked because this type of simultaneous requests are the
common cause of the CONCURRENT_MODIFICATION error that you are encountering.

Since you have logging enabled, could you collect all the logs generated during
the same time these set of logs were generated so we can check whether there
are other instances that are making changes to the same resource?

You may send over the complete logs without the masked details using the Reply
privately to author option. If this option is not available, you may send the
details directly to our googleadsapi-supp...@google.com alias instead.

Hi Dabeer,

Thanks for reaching out to the Google Ads API Forum.

For your question “If we do need an allow list here, how do we get on the allow
list?”, could you confirm if you have an account manager at Google that you
regularly work with? If yes, then please reach out to your account manager or
Google representative in order to get allowlisting for said feature. If you
don’t have an account manager or Google representative, then unfortunately
you'll have to wait until the feature gets rolled out more broadly.
