this.

With regard to your concern, please do note that the GoogleAdsFieldService is 
similar to the AdWords API ReportDefinitionService, but instead of returning 
metadata for report types, it returns metadata for resources and resource 
views. For migrating reports from AdWords API to Google Ads API, you will need 
to cross reference the fields between the two APIs. We recommend our user to 
check this document which contains mapping list of fields between old and new 
API.

I have been through this issue for very long time and I know googleleads 
API will be go away next year so all I need is to how to pass the word to 
Google Ads API with REst API to get the metrics I have mentioned in the 
start or can I reply to the past conversation? 
 I have this conversation also here Can I use Keywords Planner without 
downloading the whole Google Ads API and grpc

If you will directly use REST API to manage Google Ads account programmatically 
such as the keyword planner, then I would suggest to refer to this document as 
it presents details specific to REST and explains what you need to know to call 
the REST interface directly, without the use of a Google-supported client 
library.

How to get products under specific product groups?

Hi,

I'm aware I can use* product_group_view* to get the list of product groups 
(aka listing groups) in a campaign.

I'm also aware I can use *shopping_performance_view* to get the list of 
products in a campaign.

I'm trying to determine which products fall under which product groups.  I 
don't see a way to use the product group IDs I get from *product_group_view* 
when 
querying the products data from *shopping_performance_view.*

What am I missing?  Is there any way I can determine which products fall 
under which product group?

Get MediaBundle details of the html5 upload ad

Hey,

I have successfully created a new ad of type HTML5_UPLOAD_AD

When querying the ad details I get a displayUploadAd object with the 
mediaBundle resourceName:

but there is no detail about the uploaded file)

I made my tests with the latest v9 version.

Can you pls help me?

Hope you are doing great. I had been using Ads Script but that would not 
allow me to get the individual product statistics. That is when Teejy 
directed me here to this forum. Now I am looking for some solution using 
the Google Ads or Google Adwords API. I read through both documentations 
and came to this point that no new users can sign-up for developers token 
on Google Adwords API. But instead, users should be using the Google Ads 
API. 

Now I want to know, how can I retrieve product statistics using the Shopping 
Performace View 

 resource 
in Google Ads API? I wanted to use the Shopping Performance Report 

 resource 
from Adwords API but I do not have any developer token for that.

In  product_group_view you can segment by 
'ad_group_criterion.listing_group.parent_ad_group_criterion' to get the product 
group that the product is part of. The rows containing a productItemId and the 
same ad_group_criterion.listing_group.parent_ad_group_criterion are part of the 
same serving group.

Feel free to get back to us. If there is any UI screen that has what you are 
looking for, could you privately send us a full screen screenshot?

Hi Aryeh,

Thanks for your response.  I don't believe, however, this is how it works. * 
product_group_view *gives us data about only product groups (listing 
groups), and not individual products.  The *product_item_id *you're 
referring to is the that of the product group subdvision.  The 
*parent_ad_group_criterion* gives us the parent subdivion and not the 
product.

If I'm mistaken, can someone please correct me but, from what I see, 
*product_group_view* returns data about product groups only while 
*shopping_performance_view* returns data about products only and there is 
no way to link these 2 data sets or figure out which products belong to 
which product group.

30 mins) as suggested by another colleague of mine, then try another request 
via API to avoid the CONCURRENT_MODIFICATION error. This error occurs due to 
multiple requests attempting to modify the same resource at the same time.

The query builder UI doesn't give an option for using LIKE. It only gives

The shopping performance view provides product dimension level statistics. 
There is no ROAS metric for this view, but you can retrieve clicks, cost and 
impressions. Please note that the resources available in Ads API reporting can 
also be used in Ads scripts. Please see this table that maps AdWords API 
shopping performance to Ads API shopping performance.

Hi Matt, 

Thank you so much for your answer. Just for clearance, I thought that 
Google Ads API can be used n (Java, C#, Python, PHP, Ruby, and Perl), after 
getting developer token from Google Ads Manager Account and OAuth Client ID 
and Secret from Google Cloud Project. But do you really mean I can query 
Google Ads API Reports (specifically the Shopping Performance View Report) 
in my Ads Script from the editor in Google Ads account. If yes, could you 
provide a link to a resource that has some example code? Because I couldn't 
find any.

'product_item_id' will give the product Id, every product is also a product 
group. A real group won't have a product Id. I tested this and it works.

Is there a way to get the keyword name in Keywords View in V8 of Google Ads 
API. I am only able to find keyword resourcename.
