Filtering Keyword Performance report on display only shows 'AutomaticContent' and 'Content' keywords

2016-01-15 Thread Tiana S.
We have quite some display keywords which used to show when filtering the
Keyword performance report on only display campaigns, or `adNetworkType2 ==
CONTENT`, but when we try to fetch this now, we only see the `Content` and
`AutomaticContent` keywords of display targeting optimization and the

Google Content Network. Our own keywords are no longer returned for some
reason...

Query:

SELECT+Id,Criteria,Status,CampaignName,AdGroupName,Clicks,Impressions,Cost+
FROM+KEYWORDS_PERFORMANCE_REPORT+WHERE+Impressions > 0+AND+AdNetworkType1 =
CONTENT+DURING+20160101,20160114

This query returns 2 keywords: `Content` and `AutomaticContent`, while in
the AdWords interface (*Campaigns *->* Display Network *->* Display
Keywords*) for the same date range I see at least 5 keywords with way more
than 0 impressions (31,044, 34,496, etc.).

Re: Report Feature Request: Cost Adjustment Report (incl. Click Fraud)

2016-01-15 Thread kowal
Hi all

Any chance that this is already available somewhere in the API? I couldn't
found anything but maybe this data could be retrieved from API using
several requests to various endpoints?

Any help would be appreciated.

Invalid Field Name for Criteria Performance Report

var criteria = new CriteriaPerformance();
var report = new ReportDefinition

downloadFormat = DownloadFormat.XML,
includeZeroImpressions = false,

dateRange = new DateRange { min =
DateTime.UtcNow.AddDays(-21).ToString("MMdd"), max =

fields = new[] { "Cost", "Conversions",
"ConversionRate", "AverageCost", "Impressions" ,"Clicks" },
predicates = new[]

Predicate.Equals("Criteria", keyword)

var utilities = new ReportUtilities(user, "v201506", report);
try

using (var reader = new StreamReader(response.Stream))

var result = reader.ReadToEnd();
var doc = new XmlDocument();
doc.LoadXml(result);
criteria.Impressions =

criteria.Cost =
Convert.ToDecimal(doc.SelectSingleNode("/report/table/row/@cost").Value) /

criteria.Clicks =

criteria.Conversion =

error: invalid_client after after GetRefreshToken.php

2016-01-15 Thread Marc
Hello

I'm hoping someone can help with an issue we're having with AdWords API
(PHP).

We already have AdWords API setup and running on our system for quite
sometime, however we have decided to change the account it was associated
with.

I have created a new project in API Manager on Google Cloud for the account
we want to use, and added OAuth2 client credentials.

The client_id and client_secret credentials were then added to auth.ini.

GetRefreshToken.php was then run which gave a URL. After going to the URL
and granting permission it gave an access code. This was then put in to the
Refresh CLI as requested.

However, it returns with the following error:

Your OAuth2 Credentials are incorrect.
Please see the GetRefreshToken.php example.
{
  "error" : "invalid_client"
}

The account has been added as Admin to our MCC.
The developerToken is from our MCC account, and userAgent matches the
oAuthClient Name.

I've tried multiple times with different variations of settings but it
hasn't worked.

Any help would be appreciated.

Enhanced CPC vs flexible enhanced CPC - any differences?

2016-01-15 Thread Robert Rodakowski
Hello,

Currently, it is possible to apply *Ehnaced CPC* bidding strategy for
selected campaign in AdWords UI in two ways:

   - by setting Bid strategy to: Manual CPC with "Enable Enhanced CPC"
   checkbox marked (reflected in API as:
   ManualCpcBiddingScheme->enhancedCpcEnabled

   )

   - OR by attaching Shared/flexible Enahnced CPC strategy (reflected in
   API as EnhancedCpcBiddingScheme

)

*The question is:* are there any differences between them? I mean:
differences in how AdWords engine will work with each of them while
auto-adjusting bids?

Best regards,
Robert.

When you paste the url to the browser to get authorization code, make sure
you log in as the user that you want. So in the auth.ini file, you will

Re: Filtering Keyword Performance report on display only shows 'AutomaticContent' and 'Content' keywords

2016-01-15 Thread Yin Niu
Hello,

The keywords performance report only shows metrics for search, so if you
add a metric kind of field to the report (i.e. impressions) then you'll get
only search keywords, with the exception of the 300 keyword that is an
aggregation of all the display metrics. The keyword itself has no
distinction if it is display or search and the AdNetworkType1,
AdNetworkType2 fields are segment fields that will cause your report to
only include rows with impressions. Keywords performance report is not
tailored for the Display Network because it is based in a
single-attribution model, which means that impressions/clicks of this
report might not match up with the stats in the Display Network tab of the
UI.

Thanks,
Yin, AdWords API Team.

CriterionError.KEYWORD_HAS_TOO_MANY_WORDS

2016-01-15 Thread Christopher Taylor
Could someone let me know what the actual # of words the limit is? I can't
find it in the documentation anywhere.

This specifically happens when adding the 'same' keyword as negative match.

Thanks

Mean to say - this happens when adding a user's 'search phrase' as negative
match.

BatchJobUtilities Upload taking too long

2016-01-15 Thread Rafael Machado
Hello,

I'm trying to bach upload some CampaignCriterionOperations with c#
BatchJobUtilities.Upload, but sometimes it's taking too long (I've been
waiting for an upload of aprox. 500 operations for more than two hours
now). The BatchJobUtilities.Upload(Url, operations) gets stucked (It does
not advace, but it doesn't break or give an exception either).
What should I do?

Thank you,
Rafael

Re: Enhanced CPC vs flexible enhanced CPC - any differences?

2016-01-15 Thread Josh Radcliff (AdWords API Team)
Hi,

My understanding is that the main difference between the two is that *Manual
CPC + Enable Enhanced CPC* will allow keyword level max CPC bid overrides,
but the shared *Enhanced CPC *bidding strategy will not.

Thanks,
Josh, AdWords API Team
