Some folks have attempted to use WASM not too long ago
and had some moderate success. If I recall correctly
there were two independent projects. One started a
fork of w2c2[0], another tried using a go interpreter[1].

I think it is _a_ way of going about doing cross-compilation
from more complex ecosystems, I think the w2c2 fork was
capable of running a rust binary compiled to wasm.
I personally might think effort may be better spent elsewhere.
