Sounds like the printer queue or link on your computer is misconfigured.
Delete it in your OS (whatever is appropriate) and reinstall the printer on
your computer

Try renaming your OO user profile.
If you are using Windows close OpenOffice and the Quickstarter. Open File
Explorer. Copy and paste %appdata%\O
