hello all,

after upgrading my PC from Ubuntu 16.04 to 18.04 I re-installed SDCC from the the latest binary (https://sourceforge.net/projects/sdcc/files/sdcc-linux-x86/3.6.0/sdcc-3.6.0-i386-unknown-linux2.5.tar.bz2/download). Specifically I followed the instruction in INSTALL.txt, i.e. "sudo cp -r * /usr/local". But the following "/usr/local/bin/sdcc -v" only yields "bash: /usr/local/bin/sdcc: Datei oder Verzeichnis nicht gefunden" (= file or folder not found). Any idea what went wrong???

Thanks in advance and CU,
Georg

PS: for now I installed sdcc via apt, which works well, but is "only" 3.5.0 (#9253).
