Of course the story was not that clear cut: I changed to 3.4.0 because
I was converting the project to PIC18F45K50 and in one of the files
I had explicitly included:

#include "pic18f4550.h"


instead of

#include <pic18fregs.h>


so naturally there were lots of conflicts.

So my bad, sorry about the noise.
