I was doing something very similar for the SDCC PIC ports (Blinking LEDs and 7 segment displays for the time being) with the idea of somebody expanding it for the rest of SDCC ports (which I don't know about) so it can serve as an entry point to SDCC.
Every now and then I see messages on the mailing lists of people trying to start using SDCC and failing because of headers not included, options not passed to the compiler and so on, things that can be easily solved with a tutorial/example. To have a more complete SDCC examples/tutorials guide what would you prefer (if any)?: - Would you like to add the STM8 examples to my repo? - Would you mind that I link your tutorials from my repo? - Other? https://github.com/diegoherranz/sdcc-examples I think that a tutorials/examples guide would be very good for SDCC beginners and would help much more people to use SDCC.
