Adding a device yourself certainly is among the best ways to get a new chip supported -- unless the procedure does not work as described in the manual. The second best way is to drop a line to the sdcc-user (or sdcc-devel) mailing list and request addition of a new device ;-) (The best way would have been to file a feature request with the according sourceforge tracker, but we'll leave that for your next request.) I'll see if addition the device poses any problems and otherwise add it in the course of this weekend.
