Dave When I was playing with the port access stuff I made contact with this gentleman - this is his web-site: home.comcast.net/~mcatudal His particular interest was in the HD647180 - the embedded microcontroller version of the HD64180/Z180. He spoke at the time of doing a Z180 specific port of SDCC. He may have some help to offer...
