Hi,

You are neither doing publication nor
distribution of ASxxxx or ASLINK for commercial
use, so I don't see any problem. In other words,
you may not sell the hammer but you can sell the
chair you made with it. Compare the license of
the old ASxxxx and ASLINK used with sdcc (version
1.7) and the newest versions of ASxxxx and ASLINK (version 4.11) at

http://shop-pdp.kent.edu/ashtml/asxget.htm

which is of course different, but more explicit in that regard:
"This software is FREEWARE which means it is NOT
public domain but fully copyrighted material
that is distributed freely without money. Its
electronic distribution through BBSs, the
Internet, or other such means is encouraged
provided no money is requested in return."
So, as long as you are not selling ASxxxx or
ASLINK you are fine. It is my opinion that you
can do anything you want with the code you wrote
and the resulting outputs of ASxxxx and ASLINK...
