Summary: Change name of window when width too small disables the function entirely Group: GNU Screen Submitter: None Submitted: Wed 15 May 2024 09:46:46 AM UTC Category: User Interface Severity: 3 - Normal Priority: 5 - Normal Status: None Privacy: Public Assigned to: None Open/Closed: Open Release: 4.9.1 Discussion Lock: Any Fixed Release: None Planned Release: None Work Required: None _______________________________________________________ Follow-up Comments: ------------------------------------------------------- Date: Wed 15 May 2024 09:46:46 AM UTC By: Anonymous If a window is too narrow to change the name of it by pressing ctrl+a A, that function is disabled entirely. Even after making the window bigger or worse, even if you change to a different window, pressing ctrl+a A doesn't do anything. Thus the message has been shown ('Width XX too small'), you can never change any window's name anymore. This bug doesn't seem to appear in the master branch, but is present back to at least 2018 in the screen-v4 branch. _______________________________________________________ Reply to this item at: <https://savannah.gnu.org/bugs/?65748> _______________________________________________ Message sent via Savannah https://savannah.gnu.org/
