noticed with version 4.99.0 ; still occurs in c3e84d2
in my config, I have:
hardstatus alwayslastline '%{-b gk}[%{-b Y}%D %d, %c%{-b g}]-[%{+b Y}%l%{-b
g}] (%{-b yk}%-Lw%50>%{yr}%n%f* %t%{yk}%+Lw%<%{-b gk})%=[%{+b Wk}%H%{-b gk}]'
it stopped working properly when I decided to have truecolor in my term and
moved from 4.9.0 to 4.99.0
it is independent of whether "truecolor on" is set in config or not.
it is independent of the terminal (tested in xterm, urxvt, and on a
framebuffer console)
colored status line also went from "bright colors scheme" to "dull gray
scheme"
attachment shows on the bottom left 4.9.0 ; overlapping is 4.99.0
