Follow-up Comment #16, bug #25089 (project screen):
I'm attaching a patch, which consists in sending SIGCHLD to oneself after
calling a libutempter function (where a SIGCHLD may have been lost). This is
probably the simplest and most logical solution.
I've tested it on my Debian VM with both screen 4.6.2 (Debian 10 buster) and
screen 4.8.0 (future Debian 11 bullseye). It solves the problem for me with
both.
