Problem is that on screen-v4 branch not a lot happened and master (future v5) is not really ready for release (I could do some v4.99 preview, but it really is not that different than using git). If you look at: https://git.savannah.gnu.org/cgit/screen.git/log/?qt=range&q=v.4.6.2..screen-v4 Most of it is documentation, some configuration fixes, few term capabilites and some fixes.
