Follow-up Comment #2, bug #43533 (project screen): Do the following sequence: detach, log out. log in again. screen -r
Now you have a new client pid from a new shell, posisbly from a new terminal connected to screen. The initial client pid is now meaningless. But the pid of the screen sesison is still the same. This is why the pid of the session is part of the socket name. It also helps 'screen -wipe' to find out which sessions are still alive. I hope there is another way to find the correct SSH_AUTH_SOCK -- I cannot really tell, I never used the SSH_AUTH_SOCK feature myself. _______________________________________________________ Reply to this item at: <http://savannah.gnu.org/bugs/?43533> _______________________________________________ Message sent via/by Savannah http://savannah.gnu.org/
