Follow-up Comment #2, bug #42445 (project screen):
Yes, I had $PROMPT_COMMAND set to 'history -a', but after I unset it by
commenting it out of my .bashrc and doing "unset PROMPT_COMMAND", the
hardstatus in the window title still disappears when using screen.
In other words, $PROMPT_COMMAND didn't affect the window title behavior.
